Textures of spring. April and May have been wild months. In addition to the record-setting rains in May, I left my full-time job in education, crashed my computer, and purchased a new cell phone (the Galaxy S6). The photos in this issue were taken with the new S6 in May. Editing was done in Photoshop Elements 13 on my new computer setup, which includes a snazzy Asus IPS monitor. May 1 is the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Historically, it represents the transition into summer, although in Oklahoma May remains part of spring, with summer arriving in June.

Let me know what you think of the textures of spring in my garden.
