Original White Moth Image
Photoshop Actions You might call this the experimental issue. I have been practicing with a variety of Photoshop Actions to alter my photographs. The actions used on the photos in this issue were purchased from GraphicRiver. You can achieve a myriad of effects by combining actions with backgrounds and brushes. The art in this issue represent just a few of the possibilities. The white moth photo, above, is a delicate image without much contrast so only the simplest of effects were used. On the other hand, the image of my dog Cowboy, back page, had strong contrast and I used more vibrant effects. My favorite is the Peace Rose on the cover. I’m going to use it on greeting cards and make it available as an 8x8 print and on Fine Art America.
All photos in Photo Art Mag are taken with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Android phone. Some photos are unmodified. Others are modified using Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom.
