Leaves and Seeds Trees providing shade from the summer sun are welcome residents in my garden. I’m fortunate that my deck is shaded for most of the day. I can sit outside and enjoy the garden on even the warmest days. For this issue, I took pictures of the leaves and seeds/fruits of the four shade-producing trees. Each is identified by its common and scientific name and by classification. The photos were all taken in June and altered in Photoshop Elements 13 to look like pages from a old botany book or from someone’s nature journal. I hope you enjoy the art and the information.
