Social, Recreation, Shopping & Medical - transportation hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

The Anaheim Community Services Department recognizes the following organizations and individuals for their outstanding donations during the months of April, May, and June 2024.
COMMUNITY DONATIONS
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION donated $18,327 to the Women’s Wellness Workshop at Ponderosa, the Cultural Food Demo at Haskett, AnaCon, Canyon Library and Central Library Teen programs, Polynesian Dance program at Haskett and Ponderosa, Latin American program at Ponderosa, and the Haskett Makerspace.
SAMUELI FOUNDATION contributed $7,700 to the Library Division for staff development.
$4000 was donated by the KIWANIS CLUB OF GREATER ANAHEIM to support the Library Division.
TANAKA FARMS donated $400 to the Ballet Folklorico as a thank you for their performance.
MIKE PETRITZ donated $300 to the Anaheim Public Library for the interior restoration project of the Woelke -Stoffel House at Founders’ Park.
FRIENDS OF CANYON HILLS LIBRARY donated $283 for the continued support of programs at Canyon Hills Branch Library.
FRIENDS OF ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY donated $425 towards the Summer Reading Program at Central Children’s and Teens Library.
IN-KIND DONATIONS

DISNEYLAND RESORT provided an in-kind donation of $2000 for Ponderosa Family Resource Center Movie Night.
Little People’s Park playground project received a generous in-kind donation from CARMAX FOUNDATION to help the with the design and construct. STARBUCKS donated coffee for all the volunteers on the day of the building and NORTHGATE provided breakfast burritos, fruit, water, and pan dulce. JERSEY MIKES provide lunch with their signature sandwiches for almost 200 volunteers.
