Tamreez Inam is a writer and literary curator working as the A ssistant Festival D irector and H ead of Programming at the Emirates Literature Foundation She is responsible for the curation and delivery of the Emirates Litfest, the A rab world's largest literary festival

Previously, she worked for a decade in international development, trade and investment consulting with organisations such as O CO Global, the British Embassy in D ubai, O xfam and the U nited N ations She has a Joint H onours D egree in International D evelopment and Political Science from M cGill U niversity and a M asters degree in Global Governance & D iplomacy from the U niversity of O xford. Tamreez lives in D ubai with her husband, son and their cat M ilo.
