Usman T.Malik's fiction has been published at A l-Jazeera, W IRED , Center for Science and Imagination (A rizona State U niversity), in N ew Voices of Fantasy and several year's best anthologies including The Best A merican Science Fiction & Fantasy series H e has been nominated for the W orld Fantasy, Locus, and Eugie Foster awards, and has won the Bram Stoker and the British Fantasy awards U sman's debut book M idnight D oorways: Fables from Pakistan won the 20 22 Crawford A ward from the International A ssociation for the Fantastic in A rts (IA FA ) and was on W ashington Post's 20 21list of best new science fiction and fantasy collections It is available through his website at www usmanmalik org with an Indian edition forthcoming from H achette India in mid-20 22 U sman was the January 20 21 artist-in-residence at Stetson's U niversity M FA of the A mericas and has been a visiting writer speaker at TED x Lahore, the Clarion W est W riters W orkshop, and several universities in the U S and U K (Twitter @usmantm Instagram @usmantanveermalik).
