Convince young women to try Femfresh.

Working with Alex Goddard from Creative Advertising, I produced the visuals for a campaign concept she had proposed. We approached the brief with a simple poster advertising campaign to promote the brand, using tongue-in-cheek humour and by relating Femfresh, an intimate cleaning product, with household cleaning products, suggesting the idea that Femfresh is the ‘best way to clean yourself’,

Deliverables A campaign to advertise Femfresh

Femfresh offers a range of everyday intimate care products, designed especially for women, to help them stay clean and fresh in their personal areas from am to pm. It has a unique pH-balanced formula developed by experts to care for and look after intimate skin.

Contextual research Although Alex had already produced the concept and was directing me through the visuals that she thought could accompany her ideas, I also researched briefly into both cosmetic brand advertising and also cleaning product brand advertising as a way of drawing the comparison between the two.

The adverts I found that I thought were most succcessful were the cleaning product ones which simply had an image, but something amusing about them, so we decided to keep the illustrations as simple as possible and let the campaign speak for itself rather than trying to over complicate it.

The finished campaign images Insight: People use specific products to wash different parts of their body. Concept: A light hearted campaign to highlight that you wouldn’t use bleach or a scrubbing brush to clean your intimate areas, which is why the should use Femfresh.

Working with an advertising student, Alex, has helped me to approach this brief differently to others I have completed. Alex simply presented me with an idea and asked for some illustrations and simple campaign layout ideas so there was not much research and development on my part as she had already produced the concept, copywriting and plan for the visuals.
