Initial scamps for progress crit

1

Following the feedback from the interim crit, I chose to use scamp design 1, sticking to the original layout ideas. The navigation and logo remain the same on every page, with the text in the left hand column and the title changing to fit with the content of each page. The right hand column, which contains the slideshow of images on the homepage changes depending on the content being displayed on each page of the website.

When researching for the summer brief, it was instantly obvious that the majority of tourism websites for the area were all rather badly designed, as if they were on a very low budget. Also, there were only a couple of websites specifically promoting tourism and the history of Khayelitsha, although the area features on many other tourism websites, such as the official South Africa tourism website and TripAdvisor.

Also briefly explaining the dangers of the area, but not in a way that puts potential tourists off visiting. Contacts Listing different contacts within the area which would be useful for someone visiting Khayelitsha, such as contact details for different township tours and accommodation. A simple list to avoid there being an unnecessary amount of text, but still keeping all the essential details.
