THE BULLETIN BOARD – MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Member of the Month December: Adrianna St. George Adrianna is one of out new members. She is currently a sophomore, studying Health Sciences. When Adrianna was asked what she loves about Circle K, she said, “I love how welcoming everyone has been and all of the different volunteer activities that I’ve found out about through Circle K. I wanted to make an impact in the local community while also making new friends.”


Macy’s Believe December During the month of December, our club wrote 400 letters to Santa for the Make A Wish foundation. The letters were delivered to Macy’s on December 8th, Believe Day, where $2 is donated for every letter in the Santa Mailbox. Make A Wish gives children the physical and emotional strength they need to fight different illnesses.

OLHSA Gift Collection Rochester, MI – December 6th A couple of our members who intern at the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency spent some extra time to help sort gifts for children who receive WIC services or attend and receive other supports from the agency.

Bids for Kids Charity Auction Clinton Township, MI – December 8th Some of our members attended the Utica-Shelby Annual Bid for Kids Auction. We volunteered all night long at the registration table, selling raffle tickets for tons of amazing prizes, and helping with the Live Auction.

Kiwanis Christmas Shopping Shelby Township, MI – December 9th

To kick off the holiday season, a few of our members were able to help families who may have been stuck with a rough time this holiday season. All the families touched our hearts and we hope we made their holiday season a little brighter.


Seminole Christmas Party Mount Clemons, MI – December 20th To relieve some stress after finals, members went to Seminole Academy to give the students, who live in poverty, a Christmas Party. The students and Circle K’ers played games, did crafts, and even decorated Christmas Cookies.

Letters From Santa Shelby Township, MI – December 17th Early one Sunday morning, a few members went to the Shelby Township library with some members of a couple Key Clubs to respond to children’s Christmas letters that were written to Santa. The letters were even sent back to the children!
