Benefits of using Skin Care Products by: Brooke Warner
There are plenty of facts you should know when buying skin care products. Simply search for discounted makeup UK to look into what skin care products can do for you. Flawless skin that radiates beauty is a blessing. It is wonderful to have healthy skin and there is an array of beauty products in the market ranging from moisturizers to sun screens that women hasten to buy in the hope of looking beautiful. But are they buying the best products? How much do they know about what their skin needs and what type of skin they have? It is important to know the type of skin you have before buying skin care products. Each person’s skin care regime will depend on the type of skin they have. Here are the five different types of skin and their characteristics: Type 1: Oily Skin tends to be shiny and it prevents the skin from drying. It may be prone to blackheads and acne. Type 2: Combination Skin has a smooth texture, healthy color and is prone to medium pores. This type of skin tends to be dry on the cheeks and oily in the T zone; that is the forehead, nose and chin. Type 3: Dry Skin tends to feel tight especially after washing. There may be wrinkles and the skin appears dull. Type 4: Sensitive Skin is delicate with fine pores. Flushes easily, often allergic and can have rashes. Type 5: Ageing or Sun Damaged Skin also feels tight and has wrinkles. Dull skin especially around the cheeks and jaw line. Skin plays a major role in ensuring the optimal functioning of the body. Therefore it is critical to a person’s quality of life. Taking care of skin by using proper skin care products is vital and must be a part of the daily hygiene regimen. There are many benefits of using skin care products daily. The use of moisturizers or moisturizing lotions is recommended by health care professionals as they maintain the natural moisture level of the skin. Dry skin is susceptible to various skin diseases and damage, therefore using a moisturizer is the simplest way to avoid skin problems.
Another benefit of using skin care products is that they help to avoid health issues. Since skin is the largest organ in the body, skin issues can affect a person’s life. Life threatening cancers are among the many issues that harm the skin and eventually the life of an individual. Using proper skin care protection such as sunscreen can provide protection from the environmental elements. In addition to these health benefits, whether it is using a moisturizer, a cleanser or a sunscreen these products offer solutions to skin problems thereby improving a person’s physical appearance. Skin is one of the first features people see and everybody wants to look their best when interacting with others.

When it comes to designer clothing there are two types of people the first are women who simply think it’s not worth the money and the other is women who adore designer fashion with many women just not able to afford spending so much money on one piece of clothing but others having the luxury of being able to splurge and wouldn’t be seen dead in high street clothing. Despite these two opposites, more and more women are having an increased amount of disposable income as they become more affluent and independent, and every now and then are able to treat themselves to something with a bigger price tag and believe they deserve to splash the cash when they feel the need. As designer fashion is rather expensive, most women can’t afford to have a wardrobe full of couture pieces but a sensible shopper can have a few key pieces in their wardrobe as long as they can justify the price spent on them. If you’re used to high street shopping and checking price tags then designer clothing can be rather intimidating. The key to designer fashion shopping is to know what you’re looking for and when you should spend your money to get the most designer clothing for your budget. Timeless This probably the most important thing to remember with designer clothing; always buy with versatility in mind. Make sure it’s a good addition to your wardrobe and won’t age easily, otherwise you won’t get much wear out of it. Charity shops If you love the idea of designer clothing but not the price tag why not check out charity shops? There are some amazing bargains to be found and some charities even have shops specifically for designer pieces, and what’s more is that you’ll also be giving to
charity! It’s best head to a city to find the best bits though in areas where young and hip people hang out. Accessories It’s so easy to change your look with some fashion accessories like a bag, jewelry or a scarf. When buying designer accessories only choose an item that you’ve really fallen for and that will really make a different. Accessories are so cheap on the high street so make this one area that you really think about. Little black dress Every woman needs an LBD in her wardrobe; it’s so easy to wear for all occasions and will definitely be your fallback piece. This fashion classic is a good excuse to go designer because it’s one item that will never date and will always be needed. Go smart with it in the office and glam it up with some killer heels for a night on the town. Signature pieces If you’re thinking along the lines of getting the most for your money and the long term investment then it’s a good idea to buy a signature piece of designer clothing. Many designers produce key pieces and if you invest in one of these then you’ll be able to sell it on in the future. But don’t buy something for the sake of it; you really need to like it as well. So those are the items of designer pieces you should look out for and consider buying if you’re looking to add designer clothing to your wardrobe, but, as you would expect there are also lots of things you should avoid buying. It’s important not to get addicted to buying designer fashion and to always stick to your budget. Don’t buy fashion trends and fads from designer names, stick to the high street for this because they’ll most likely have gone out of fashion within a few months and it’ll be a waste of money.

Mineral Cosmetics VS Traditional Cosmetics by: Bryan Chase
About The Author http://afterglowcosmetics.com
Mineral make-up has been around for more than thirty years already. However, it is only recently that mineral cosmetics boomed into the beauty market. But what exactly is mineral make-up? Mineral make-up or mineral cosmetics are products that are made up of all-natural, finely ground minerals that can be found on the earth. Unlike traditional make-up, this variety doesn't contain any chemicals, nor any unnatural dyes, and preservatives. Like traditional cosmetics, mineral cosmetics come in various forms and prices. However, the most popular among this kind of cosmetics, are the loose powder foundations and blushes. These powders are light and finely ground loose minerals that are used on the skin with a wide, fluffy brush. The prices range from an affordable $10 to a more luxurious $50 per product. What's great about mineral cosmetics is that it's light, natural, and long-lasting. These effects cannot be duplicated by any other kind cosmetics. The main ingredients of mineral cosmetics are mica, zinc oxide, and titanium oxide. Mineral Cosmetics VS Traditional Cosmetics Mineral cosmetics, like any other kind of cosmetics, can cause skin problems. However, because it eliminates the irritants - like fragrances, binders, preservatives, and synthetic dyes - in traditional make -up, it can be milder and kinder to one's skin. Because make-up sensitivity is usually caused by synthetic dyes, preservatives, and fragrances, any kind of make-up that doesn't include these in its composition, also eliminates the problem. Also, titanium-oxide and zinc oxide are both minerals that contain anti-inflammatory properties. So this kind of make-up has a calming effect on the skin, which is really important if you have skin problems like acne or rosacea. Mineral cosmetics are also non-comedogenic. This means that it doesn't clog pores and doesn't aggravate any acne condition that a person may have. It doesn't also cause a flare-up as easily as other cosmetics can. Another thing that's great with mineral cosmetics is that it has a level of sun protection. Because of the two main ingredients previously mentioned, mineral cosmetics have a protective effect against the
TRADITIONAL COSMETICS (Left)
MINERAL COSMETICS (Right)
harmful rays of the sun. Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide are both ingredients found in traditional sunscreen. However, putting on mineral make-up doesn't complete you completely. Thus, you need to put regular cream sunscreen under your make-up for maximum protective boost.
However, consumers need to know that not all mineral cosmetics are the same. Actually, they fall into two general types: first are those mineral cosmetics that go out of their way to take care not to use any kind of synthetics, like paraben preservatives and other fillers, so as to stay true to the first and primary intent of providing pure, mineral cosmetics; second are those that add some fillers, binders, colors, preservatives, and other chemicals into their mixture.

Although we can’t deny that there are some who just don’t care about the fashion at all. But why we still need to care about fashion and why fashion is relevant? Let me site some definition of fashion and its importance. Fashion as per the Dictionary is the prevailing style or custom, as in dress or behavior; fashion is something such as a garment that is in current mode or the style characteristic of the social elite. For most, fashion is an art of form, but for some it is almost a religion.
