CLIENT EXPECTATIONS • • •
At Into Action, the expectations for treatment for clients are extremely important. At Into Action, we expect you to come with an open mind. The client must be willing to change their maladaptive behaviors and do something completely different than before.

The client must understand that staff at Into Action has a goal and that is to have you work on you and your addiction.

In order to make these changes, you must trust the process. This means to be humble, open, honest and willing to look within you.

You must be respectful to peers, staff, and self. You must be willing to take staff advice and recommendations even when you may not fully understand those recommendations.

The client must not engage in any aggression, anger or hatred towards their peers or staff. At Into Action, we do not encourage war stories or glorifying using memories. At Into Action, we focus on the solution not the problem. The clients are to express themselves in an appropriate manner considering that their language may be offensive to others.

The client is required to follow all the house rules and regulations at all times. If the client refuses to follow house rules and regulations, then an automatic administrative dismissal will be obtained.

At Into Action, we want you to focus on yourself and be aware of your dishonesty, manipulations, and elevated egos.
•
The focus should be solely on self. The client is required to attend all groups and activities.
•
The client will have weekly sessions with their therapist, three days a week of home group with therapist, and weekly family sessions.

CLIENT EXPECTATIONS •
At Into Action, there is always an open door policy so if you need more one-on-one time with your therapist or other clinical staff, this is available to you.
•
The client must maintain all activities of daily living that includes maintaining daily hygiene, keeping your room, residents and group rooms clean.
•
The client will be responsible for placing their trash and cigarettes in the proper containers.
•
Into Action does not encourage negative contracts with peers and will not tolerate negative contracts.
•
The client must realize that secrets keep people sick and by keeping those secrets, you could be enabling another client to their relapse or death. If the client is ready to embark on an amazing journey into recovery, then Into Action is the place you need to come to start that journey.
