This past month has been very eventful! We had our rattlesnake bonding, the April DCM banquet, decorating masks for the children's hospital, passing out sandwiches to the homeless, and fun games during meetings! I hope you guys have been enjoying the new meeting system because I sure have been! Also, to those who are AP testing this month, GOOD LUCK! I know you will do AMAZING! Get lots of sleep and take some time to relax a bit. Heres to the last few weeks in the school year, let's finish off strong! I am beyond excited for more sunny days and volunteer events in the upcoming summer:) In love and service, Lauren Huynh <3

service projects or ice breaker games that we play at social meetings. Personally, my favorite meeting was when we played atoms in the courtyard, I thought it was super intense lol. At the last meeting, we annouced the new concept of key club points and a leaderboard. I can’t wait to see who rises to be in the top ten! Good luck on your journey to the top and keep up the grind, key clubbers!

Hey Keyuties! We’ve made it three months into the key club year and I hope you all have been enjoying In love and service, our new meeting system! Please let me know Ben Bunyatipanon any feedback you might have about the

DRAGON OF THE MONTH

HUAN

Our dragon of the month is Huan! After asking her why she likes key club, she responsed: "some of my favorite things about key club is that when you join, you’re able to meet and create new friendships with people in our club at Hazen and other key clubbers in the PNW region. I love how welcoming and enthusiastic everyone is, especially at DCON, and how motivated everyone is to make a difference". As a freshman, Huan is making strides to be a committed key clubber. She has been volunteering at events, participating in activities, and is now apart of our fundraising committee! Congrats and thank you for all of your hard work Huan!

A MONTHLY RECAP

BONDINGS

SERVICE

FUNDRAISER

Our first bonding since DCON was the annual Rattlesnake hike bonding. It was lots of fun waking up early for a morning hike with our fellow key clubbers, but sadly the view was all fog. Khanh kept our tradition alive by crossing the lake! Then we also had the April DCM banquet and our immediate board members were recognized with awards!

May 1st marked the end of our second hygiene drive! Thank you to everyone who donated and thanks to King County Library for collaborating with us! This month we made sandwiches and passed them out to the homeless in Seattle and then finished off with a service event where we decorated masks for the Children's hospital!

We had our first fundraiser of the service term! It was a Panda Express collab and they donated 20% of all orders who used our flyer! Thank you guys for promoting this event and to all of those who came out to eat! Our first fundraiser of the year was a success and hopefully we made progress towards our fundraising goals this year!
