EDITOR'S LETTER LAUREN HUYNH Hey guys happy August. I can't believe how fast summer is coming to an end and it's making me so sad. School starts so soon!! I am writing this in advanced but I hope you all had fun at our bonding and got to meet new people.
PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS BEN BUNYATIPANON
Keep volunteering, sending me photos, and turning in your hours! So far, my summer has been one total roller coaster ride. I was very lucky enough to go on a beautiful, relaxing, vacation this year to Hawaii. I also managed to sprain my ankle on the last day in Hawaii and also just got my wisdom teeth removed so that means no boba for me:(( I am excited to get back into our meeting schedule and meet new incoming freshman/key club members. I know though that although we have been really strong this month in our attendance to events, we can go even harder next month! So get excited and get your friends pumped up because it’s almost time for the next big key club event, Key Club Day North! This is like a little taste of DCON for everyone, so if you’re really missing DCON or just haven’t been to key club in a while this is a great refresher! I hope to see everyone there! Hey Key Clubbers! It’s been such an action packed month with so much fun stuff we’ve done together! It was In love and service, great to be able to see everyone at the Ben Bunyatipanon bonding and Hazen's presence at the DCM!
DRAGON OF THE MONTH
CALVIN
Our dragon of the month is Calvin! We asked Calvin some questions about his key club experience and this was his response: Fav key club memory? The pieing of the club board is a fond memory to me cause of the interactions I had with the people at my table and neighboring tables while we munched on food. Why'd you join key club? Mainly because of friends dragging me into this cult introducing me to this lovely club but partly because I get to hear about any volunteering opportunities that I would've missed if I hadn't joined. Why is key club important to you? Key club is important to me because it's something I look forward to after a hard monday.

SSU UM MM MEER R SSPPO OTTLLIIG GH HTT I went to the Bite of Seattle and got to try cool foods. My favorite of was sugar and spoon which was cookie dough served like ice cream! Then I went to Mt. Olympus Leadership Camp. This camp truly changes lives. It was a week filled with emotion, laughs, and tears. The people I met and experiences I had will stay with me forever.
I attended UCA Cheer Camp at Great Wolf Lodge! We learned a lot of fun new stunts and cheers that we’re using this year. I can’t wait for next year’s cheer season because we’re looking strong! I also turned 17 this year and celebrated with a bonfire with some of my close friends! -Ben Bunyatipanon

This summer in July, Anna traveled to San Diego for a camping trip! She met lots of new people and made new friends. "I hope I can see them next year" says Anna as she recalls her California trip. Anna has also been spending her summer with her siblings and family members from Chicago and Canada. -Anna Nguyen

BONDINGS
This month we had a bonding that was open to new members who were interested on joining. We played games to get to know each other and ate pizza! At the August DCM, there was a BBQ, lots of pie-ing, and a huge giveaway that included AirPods! It was so fun to meet new people, I encourage you to come next time!
SERVICE
Since it is back to school season, our service committee has planned to collect donations of school supplies to then be distributed to elementary schools within our district. More details are coming soon! And to anyone who volunteered over the summer, remember to turn in your hours to Angel!!
FUNDRAISER
This summer, the fundraising committee has planned yet another collaboration with a restaurant. They teamed up with Mod pizza this time to earn a percentage of everyone's order that night. Thank you to anyone and everyone who came to support our club by eating at Mod! It is greatly appreciated.
