What is Key Club? Hazen Key Club is a part of Division 32, which is composed of Hazen, Lindbergh, Kentlake, KentMeridian Kentridge, Kentwood, Renton and Tahoma. Division 32 is part of a proud Pacific Northwest district.
Howdy from the Editor Yo yo yo my SERVICE LOVERS, Summer is slowly coming to an end, but don’t worry, the service opportunities aren’t ;-) Get that summer homework done! August is jam packed with service opportunities and events so stay tuned and stay updated on our Facebook page. Thank you to all of you who went to the many rallies held last month and this month and for representing for Hazen! I’m going to keep this short and let the rest of the informational pages speak for themselves. Until the next one… Hasta luego, General Kusumi
Hello from the President Hi! How's it going? Has your summer been swell? Just giving a few updates for this greeting! We are currently in rally season and its great seeing we've had a representative from Hazen at each one so far (including Portland Rally!) and I really hope that those who have attended really enjoyed themselves and got a sense of what DCON is like! Up and coming, we have a joint summer meeting with the other schools in RSD (Renton and Lindbergh) so I hope you all would like to come down, eat food, play icebreakers and get to meet some more peeps in the local area as well! There are also some service events that need YOUR help like the Kent Parks for the whole division, the Stop and Swap down at Renton Memorial Stadium, and ANOTHER Northwest Harvest event provided by the lovely Ammara (KR President)! Tried to keep this one short and sweet like last time and keep volunteering, work on that summer bod, drink bubble tea to your hearts desire and enjoy reading the rest of this newsletter from our General Kira. Signing off, Captain Vo

Dragon of the Month goes to‌
Your unwavering spirit, presence, and service in Key Club has not gone unnoticed, Zach! Keep it up!
Who will be the June Dragon?
About Zach Why did you start Key Club and why do you love it?
What is your spirit animal and why?
“What first got me into Key Club were some friends that really encouraged me to go to meetings and DCMs. At first it was hard to really love and understand what Key Club was all about, but Key Club has really grown on me because of the inclusiveness and positive spirit of the community. It truly warms my heart to experience different events and meet amazing new people that it's kind of hard not to love Key Club!”
“My spirit animal would probably be a rabbit (I'd say Pikachu, but this ain't Pokemon) because I'm quick to jump into new things and can be social with people even if I haven't met them just yet!”
