Despite not being active on TikTok, (Doyle, 2021), they have nicknamed Telfar ‘Telfeezy’ by their consumers, with the name harbouring 15.5M views, the second most viewed Telfar related hashtag after ‘#Telfar’ with 55.7M views (Source: Tiktok: Online). Telfar’s a pop up event (owned media) on Fire Island for their new swimwear collection in 2016 attempted to reach gay consumers to welcome them to the Telfar community (Anderson, 2016).
