A visual artist who combines elements of classical painting and graphic design with a graffiti aesthetic.Influenced by the post-industrial landscape of Britain, his work is informed by the stories gleaned from the remnants of a labour intensive history looking towards the future.
Woven together alongside architectural derelicts, typography and imagined colour-fields, objects are often cast centre stage as a vehicle for multiple interpretations.

OTHERMAN
I've been writing graffiti for 30 years on and off. Always tried to honour traditional styles and typography studies, while bringing my own thoughts and techniques.
More recently proud to be involved in bringing larger work to the public space and contributing to a wider understanding of graff artists and their value to our culture.
Personally I’ll be found painting, sketching, making, sculpting and modelling on a much smaller scale these days but always looking back to the old school writers traditions to guide my work.

THE BUTTERFLY EFFECTED
The aim of The Butterfly Effected is to spread positivity and wellbeing using art as the vehicle.
#TheButterflyEffected is to inspire anyone that is going through a hard time by sharing positive stories from people on the other side of a hard time – This is anything from mental health, trauma, sickness, addiction, abuse, family troubles.
Our aim is to inspire and give hope when ‘normality’ or happiness seems non-existent.

Ross started his journey busking on the streets of Glasgow, just short of 10 years ago, then in 2018 he landed a spot on ITV’s ‘The Voice’, impressively making it all the way to the quarter finals.
Since then he's been reaching out to many cities in the UK, featuring in multiple viral videos and building his audience who eagerly await the release of his own original music this year.
FEEL GOOD SINGERS
Community singing group based in Ulverston get together weekly for a social sing and jollies. FGS sing all sorts of songs from original to traditional to contemporary.
Whether it’s a shanty or a more soulful piece, the emphasis is in the simple act of singing together to Feel Good. FGS will debut “Ode to Hoad” a song written with affection for Ulverston’s local surroundings.

A 20 strong and 20+ year old street band of the ancient town of Ulverston in South Cumbria, demonstrating freedom with joyous musical reverberations.
Ska, Salsa, Samba, Calypso, Township & Gypsy combine to create a kaleidoscope of sound that draws together all races, ages and musicians.
Leaping between New Orleans, Brazil and Jamaica, their dancy tunes and wild spirit guarantee every stomp is a party romp.

Come enjoy the fantastical finale of the ‘Another Fine Future’ parade.
A community-powered performance coordinated alongside Mycelium Thinking CIC and Playful Nature. Reveal of a new ‘Wolverston’ folk song, inspiring soundtrack co-created with local Mind members, and a sunny performance with young people in the Sunshine Cabaret. Saturday 2pm on the main Melodrome Stage.

GABRIELLA & JASMINE T
2 sisters from Carnforth Sisters aged just 11 and 14. The girls have been singing together for 2 years. They appeared on The Voice Kids ITV1 & duetted with Will.i.am.
They have also starred on the BBC on Michael McIntyre's Big Show. They have appeared at venues, events and festivals across the country including high profile gigs such as Lancaster Music Festival& Highest Point.
The girls love performing and sing songs from a variety of different genres from soul, hip hop, rap, reggae and more.
THE THINGAMAJIGS
Meet our high-energy, fast-moving lycra-clad superheroes, featuring circus skills, dance, slapstick and audience participation galore!

This DJ has been running Lancaster's One Love Sound since 1990. Supporting countless top drawer reggae acts at Kendal's Brewery and at Morecambe's WOMAD festivals and was key part of the free party scene in the early 90s.
A vinyl only DJ, expect nuggets from across the spectrum. Steve will also be playing a variety of genres throughout the day as well as hosting the stage!

The band is made up of young brass, wind and percussion players between the ages of 10 and 18 from all over Lancashire.

Patsy Gillam is a Glasgow based indie/folk inspired singer/songwriter from Ulverston.
She has recently been recording in Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield with Paul Heaton’s guitarist and songwriter ‘Johnny Lexus’ and performing at venues such as Audio and HMV in Glasgow.
Some of her achievements include performing at Kendal Calling and her music being played on BBC Radio 6Music’s Radcliffe and Maconie show.
BOOM BIKE BOURREE
BBB bring a joyous mix of medieval dance music and hip hop beats. A four piece line-up of hurdy gurdy, beatbox, accordeon and trombone with a dose of sub bass. The musicians are from Lancaster and Ulverston but can mostly be found pounding the streets of the UK wirelessly amplified by the amazing BoomBike sound system.

While Pete Buckley’s influences are Cat Stevens, Richard Ashcroft, Bruce Springsteen, and Johnny Cash, his songs draw from the roots of an Irish upbringing. The main topics of his music surround love, addiction, and society.
“I'm inspired by a mixture of different music. I love to sing and perform, and sing all the hits from Bob Dylan to Amy Winehouse guaranteed to get people singing along.
I also have a couple of my own songs up my sleeve that are inspired by 60s folk.”
“I started writing poems, songs & sketches when I was still at primary school. I taught myself to sing, play drums and guitar.
I started working semi-professionally aged 14 as part of the band Crescendo. Over the next few decades I played as part of several bands and duos but my main performances were as a solo act.
These days I play guitar & sing my own versions of well known songs from the 1950's onwards.”

He plays in various bands like The Cascaras, Rockin Dangleberries and Sunhouse Blues.

Gaz now solely focuses on local night Cavort, running Bright Blue Studios and is also a part of the Mindform Recordings crew.

Craig has been a favourite across the local area for a long time.

Craig has played in some of the UK's finest clubs including the infamous Sankeys in Manchester.

Loko has been catching the eyes of the local scene recently and their events are gaining some great attention.

TRIBE events founder and Liaison resident DJ, Connor has a passion for electronic dance music, growing up following the surge of underground house and disco. His inspirations are from the likes of Slapfunk Records, Music is Love, Nervous Records and Local Talk.
Connor has been dj’ing and organising events for the past 4 years and knows how to craft an upbeat set to get the crowd two stepping.

Co founder of TRIBE DJS, Morgan Ryan brings a collection of new and old melodic house to techno.
Djing for 10 years with gigs as far as Germany and recently warming up for the likes of Ben Hemsley & Devstar.

Since beginning to mix during the lockdown of 2020, Niall and Patrick Cush have been showcasing their shared interest for minimal house music across the local area and afar.
Playing largely under the banner of the Tribe DJ’s, the brothers are looking forward to presenting their sound at AFF 2023.
BALDASSARRE
Eeko has been DJ’ing in the Northwest for more than a decade.
His taste in underground electronic music spreads across deep house, garage, techno, minimal, ambient and acid.
Taking major influence from the Chicago house sound to the dark and spaced out ambient sounds of dub techno. He currently holds residency and organises the Electric Garden.
A part of the local circuit for the last ten years, Jacob Baldassarre has developed a high energy style taking inspiration from the Romanian minimal scene.

Dan has been behind the decks for over 20 years taking influence from early progressive house and deep tech.

Hailing from Barrow, Mark Doherty has been writing music since the age of 11.
Influenced by David Bowie, Jack White and Prince, he brings together these eclectic influences to create a unique sound all his own.
After a relocation to Liverpool, Mark is releasing his debut solo album Reckless Abandon due out mid-2023.
A band hailing from Barrow. Playing indie pop/rock music, the band is fronted by singer songwriter and guitarist Darryl Waite smashing out songs with driven guitars and stomping beats.
The sound is created by the two other guitarists, drums and bass guitar, that create a sound similar to the tones of The Clash, And a tinge of eighties style rock guitar.
Fizzy Milk is an indie/punk outfit founded in Ulverston Sixth Form.
Having recorded and released their debut EP, "Yesterday's Jam", they have vastly enjoyed playing a recent variety of gigs and events around the country at their members' various universities.
Fizzy Milk are currently working on a seven track project which structurally, instrumentally and thematically expands upon the material from their debut.
Baa Chords are a Kendal based singer- songwriter band with brass that play original songs penned by Keith Redfern and Ann Grant and a varied selection of covers.
Keith Redfern, Ann Grant, Debbie Austin and Rose Gallop make up the band and their album ‘The Baa-ck catalogue’ is available on Bandcamp.
Jamie Bosanko brings a full band to this year's festival, showcasing a string of recent new releases in a departure from his trademark solo shows.

Emker Cel began as a studio based project for songwriter / producer / multi-instrumentalist Matt Kassell.
A trio of EPs formed the basis of the first, eponymous album in 2016.
A second album, "From the Waves" was released in 2018, followed by a series of EPs and singles.
After a break for fatherhood, the third Emker Cel album "You are Everything you are" will be released in early 2023.

Hailing from the banks of the River Mersey, Frog Dylan formed in Liverpool in 2021. Finding influence in The Velvet Underground, The Fall, PJ Harvey and Dean Blunt; the Merseyside five-piece tightrope the edge of heartbroken overdriven lullabies, wonky samples and fully loaded garage rock. After a year locked away rehearsing hard, writing and recording their debut EP, the band are now ready to take the live show on the road.
Jon a previous winner of Glastonbury’s best new artist award has worked with the likes of Mick Jones of The Clash, Jon is now on a new path wanting to use his passion and music to help create change.

Fresh new Ulverston band “Zopa” debut their material at the Ranch for this year’s “Another Fine Fest”. Comprised of seasoned musicians from various bands, their song writing style has influences from blues, funk, soul and Rock n Roll.
A steady groove underpins lip curlin’ bass lines linked with slinky guitar licks and creamy vocals to supply you with a deep dose of audile satisfaction.

A female fronted duo bringing euphoric vibes, Soarring vocals, dirty baselines and glossy, danceable beats to festival stages since their debut shows last year, playing Eden Festival, Eskfest, AFF and Solfest.
