The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program is designed to meet the workforce-preparation and secondary-education exploration needs of eligible 15-18 year-old youth. Those accepted into the program are placed in 12-week apprenticeship positions at MWR facilities in the garrison. These positions serve as exploratory work experiences under the guidance of a dedicated on-site mentor–hence the use of the name “apprenticeship.” HIRED! terms are purposely aligned with specific career paths designed to pave the way into college or higher education. Apprenticeships provide exploratory work experiences and help participants determine ifcertain career paths are viable choices for their future.

CIV 09841.83.4849, DSN 467.4849 We strive to provide excellence in outreach programming, health and fitness, individual, and team sports for children and youth 3 to 18 years old. We offer developmental programming in the core areas of basketball, T-ball and soccer along with a variety of outreach programs, summer camps, clinics and individual and team sports such as wrestling, football and cheerleading. Our goal is to offer our Military youth the same opportunities available to their counterparts in the United States. A valid CYS Services sports physical is required to practice and participate.

Child Abuse Prevention CYS Services and FCC programs have an open door policy and welcome visits by parents at any time during operating hours. As a team, we will work together to provide the safest environment for the children in our care. Therefore, all CYS Services personnel (employees, contractors, FCC providers, volunteers, Family and MWR partners and interns) are knowledgeable and considered “mandated reporters” who are required by law to report suspicions of child abuse or neglect. If they notice suspicious bruises, cuts or burns on a child, they must: 1. Report it to the installation reporting Point of Contact (RPOC). The installation RPOC is the Military police/ Provost Marshal Division (P/PMD), 2. Notify the appropri- ate CYS Services program director after notification to RPOC. DoD Child Abuse and Safety Hotline Posters are placed in prominent locations in all CYS facilities and FCC homes should parents need to report incidents of suspected abuse beyond the installation level.
