Our tools are not vague and abstract services. We only offer tools that are proven technology, have been used many times and have a predictable outcome. Our Toolmasters have a track record as users of the tools. We do no concessions to quality. The outcome (in format, not in content) is predictable before we even start the analyses.

We do not want and shall not compete with you in your markets. We are second tier, we want to be contracted by you. Why? Because you understand the benefits that we can bring you, as a Business or Management Consultant. Our most important goal is not to fill gaps in capacity (bodies in suits with ties) and skills. It is to make sure that you get more work and ‘go aheads’ . For this reason we will be happy to sign any non-disclosure agreement or non-competition clause.

Levels of engagement YouhereŠ engage on 3 levels. The level of engagement will be confirmed at the intake.

1. Great Input: The tool, the professional the raw data. This level of engagement is based on delivering input; a firm commitment that we will perform a great analysis and that we will provide you with insights, data and information that will allow you to take the next step.

2. The Co-creative Solution: The tool, the professional, the data, the presentation and the conclusions. We deliver the tool, the professional and we support the presenting consultant(s) to deliver the right conclusions, storyline and punch lines. We are working very closely together with you to ensure your success.

3. Shared risk: We charge 200% of the co-creative solution, but only when you are successful: 50% up front + 150% if your predefined goals, whatever they are, are achieved.

TOOLS The Competing Values Survey: The Competing Values Survey is used to measure perceptions and preferences of people in various segments of the organization. These segments are usually hierarchical levels (executives, managers, supervisors and employees) and functional levels (planners, controllers, production, staff, etc.). Further segmentation per location or geographical areas is possible. Segments are defined, confirmed and agreed with our clients; consulting organizations. The online survey provides transparent insights in the preferences and perceptions in the segmented groups. More important, it highlights competing values. Choices to be made are not based on obvious clichés (good or bad) but on valid competing values. Think about dilemma’s like “Quality First” or “Results First”. Hence, the typical choices with which we are faced. The Competing Values Survey is 100% online. Obviously, we will use your house style and logo. Respondents will be redirected to your page or project page following the survey. The professionals of Youhere© do not need to communicate with your client.

When to use the Competing Values Survey ? The competing Values Survey can be used in situations that require an in depth understanding of cultural values. In case that companies / organizations (your clients) are faced with obstacles to change and innovation. Neglecting cultural obstacles and gaps before starting a major turnaround program has caused many disappointing failures in BPR programs. The Competing Values Survey usually provides the necessary foundation for an encompassing and ambitious change program. It builds mutual understanding and confidence both with the key players in your client’s organization as well as with your own team of consultants.

We are able to turn Powerpoint slides or regular documents into a compelling and effective presentations. These presentations don’t only look nice and professional, they are effective and achieve the goals that we agree with our clients. We will create your company’s own Prezi space on the internet and provide you with HTML code to paste great presentations straight in your company’s websites and your client’s project portals. Try us out! We charge an introductory fee of only € 60 per hour for the first Prezi. After that you will either want to learn how to use the tool yourself (and we are willing to teach you) or you will be making much more use of our Prezi services.

Brown Paper Workshop Together with key players in operational work areas, the planning department and all other areas related to the core operational work practice we map the value creation process. We create consensus and mutual understanding about value leaks, value and up front, in 1 day. The Brown Paper Workshop offers just that. In 1 day we create a comprehensive flow of the core processes. The attendees; key players in your client’s organization, will participate in a half day workshop. They will explore the way the process REALLY works. They will identify areas of opportunity, chronic issues, strengths and areas of concern.

Together with your consultants a basic approach and action plan will be delivered at the end of the workshop. The workshop is not finished until we have made a comprehensive presentation for your client’s executives. In fact, this presentation can usually be ‘delivered’ by one of the attendees in the workshop. Stakeholders will appreciate the level of consensus and general willingness to improve work practices.

Data Analyses Nothing can be more boring and painstaking than the detailed analyses and studies of large amounts of non-digital data. Yet, very often it is within the data that clues and sources can be found for important improvements. Work Practice Reporter Work Practice Reporter is an extensive category of diagnostic tools that we offer. The tools are all aimed at getting a quantified insight in the day to day realities of the work practice. Usually we will be able to determine the level of measurable improvement that can be achieved in the operational “as is” work environments. One example: We call the studies DILO’s (a Day In the Life Of …) … you name it… “the subject …” ;-) It might be the day in the life of a manager. We will study with the subject, what his/her planning is at the beginning of the day. We will explore if the subject has a notion of the value that he/she wants to create or sustain. We will look, open en honest, at the interventions and various distracting events. We will evaluate the quality an effectiveness of meetings. We will ask the ’subject’ if this was a normal day or not. We evaluate and think together if this day could have been different, maybe more effective and more fulfilling. We will agree on the reporting of the study / analysis and last but not least, we will ask the subject is he/she would be willing to present conclusions and lessons learned him or her self. The DILO can be done with any employee and is usually always of great value. Certainly if the subject presents him– or herself the outcome, conclusions and suggested actions to achieve sustainable improvements.

Social Return On Investment (SROI) SROI is an outcomes-based measurement tool that helps organizations to understand and quantify the social, environmental and economic value they are creating. Developed from traditional cost-benefit analysis and social accounting, SROI is a participative approach that is able to capture in monetised form the value of a wide range of outcomes, whether these already have a financial value or not. An SROI analysis produces a narrative of how an organisation creates and destroys value in the course of making change in the world, and a ratio that states how much social value (in €) is created for every €1 of investment. We conduct two types of SROI’s. Evaluative SROI -- conducted retrospectively and based on actual outcomes that have taken place over a given evaluation period. These are most useful where a project is already up and running and there is good outcomes data available. Forecasted SROI -- predict how much social value will be created if activities meet their intended or most likely objectives. Forecasted SROI are used when a project is still in the planning stages to assess its likely impact or in instances where there is a lack of outcomes data. A forecasted SROI can be followed with an evaluative SROI to verify the accuracy of the predictions.

Empowerment Matrix Youhere© can assist you in analyzing the perceived an actual matrices of empowerment in your client’s organizations. We establish insight in 3 simple questions: who does what? who is responsible for what? who is authorized to do what? Ask these 3 questions to various people, in divers divisions / departments and divers hierarchical positions and you usually get a hilarious outcome. A useful conclusion for Consultants is that the client organization needs to work on uniform perceptions across the board.
