Importante realizar una valoración de la raíz y su pronostico. Evaluar el estado de la endodoncia antes de realizar el perno colado. Seguir paso a paso el protocolo clínico recomendado. Seleccionar y preparar adecuadamente el conducto. El efecto ferrule, el bisel y contra bisel son importantes en el éxito clínico a largo plazo de los pernos colados.
