Born and bred in rural Australia (although now reluctant city-slicker), Jeanette is proud of her country roots. Growing up on a cattle farm, Jeanette learnt the importance of hard work, perseverance and how to make an apple pie from scratch – qualities she fears are lost on today’s generation, especially her bratty grandchildren. Now a few years retired, 65-year old Jeanette believes the landscape of her beloved country is changing faster than ever, with inner-city, latte-sipping lefties calling the shots and leaving rural Australia for dead. When she feels particularly frustrated, which happens more often than not, she prays.
