Pete’s living the Australian dream, but he won’t tell you that. He’s too busy watching his savings, watching his super, and watching his two young sons. With only a high school certificate and a toolbox, he’s worked his way up from tradie to corporate office and by buying only what they can afford, 41-year old Pete and his wife pay off only a small mortgage and own an investment property up north. He’s not being stingy, but smart. Pete hopes to one day take the whole family to New Zealand. Until then, the annual camping trip is where you’ll find them every Christmas.
