Please join us by helping for an hour or a day to give back to the community. No special skills are required, just a willingness to help. If you have any clean usable fabric to donate for our causes, we would greatly appreciate the donation. Bless you. padded items for attaching to seat belts to add comfort for those with a medical port. We had lots of faithful customers, many members of the Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild and Boonslick Quilters Guild, plus staff members and teachers who helped throughout the weekend. We also had lots of people donate fabric and fiberfill for the pillows. Thank you to all for helping us make this event sew very successful. This event was cosponsored by Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Thrivent Financial, and Appletree Quilting Center. Candy Bliel (above left) and Maggie Walter (above right) from the Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild lend their expert touch to our comfort pillows and portpads.
Debbie Laupp uses the BERNINA 480 to skillfully close seams on the comfort pillows. Page 13
