Celebrating 70 Years Three generations of members have enjoyed life in the SUN and we’re excited to celebrate 70 years of helping families achieve their dreams.

As we prepare for our anniversary this December, it’s a perfect time to reflect on our beginnings. We received our charter in 1946 and opened with 11 members and their balance of $55. SUN’s growth over the past seven decades can be attributed to our continued focus on our original mandate, to provide members with a wide range of low-cost financial services.
Our success is due to our members who continue to use the products and services we offer. With steady growth and community involvement, we look forward to serving our members for many more years to come. Watch for announcements about how we will be celebrating another milestone in our history this December. We look forward to sharing this occasion with all of our members and their families that have played such a large part in our journey.
