VDI LAWFIRM represents European Commission in concluding an agreement for the premises of its Offices in Athens
VDI LAWFIRM represented the European Commission in concluding a lease agreement for the premises of its Offices hosting three of its Services, the Structural Reform Support Service (SRSS), the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) and Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) in Athens.
VDI LAWFIRM supported this project offering legal advice during extensive negotiations, including representation and participation during meetings with the owners and EC officials, formulation of the rent contract, insertion of diplomatic immunity and tax exemptions clauses, as well as specific representations and warranties clauses protecting the lessee, and provided continuing legal assistance until the signing of the final rent contract which sealed the agreement.
