Bankhall

Bankhall Social is a project designed to bring together communities within liverpool. Located in a rich industrial area the site is along side the LiverpoolLeeds canal.

Bankhall social project is designed to referferbish a warehouse on Bankhall Street Liverpool. The community project aims to regenerate the canal and surrounding areas by improving accsesiblity on the canal and designing a soical building uniting the community through music and food

Weather or Not

Explorations around climate change

In an attempt to address climate change, extreme weather phenomena and the dramatic shifts in water levels. The project is an education centre located within The Lake District, that aims to teach the harsh reality of climate change. The concept a rammed earth building that is self sufficent.

Brief

“Thinking about daylight and artificial light I have to admit that daylight, the light on things, it’s so moving to me that I feel it almost as a spiritual quaility” -Peter Zumphor

The project called for a temporary event space within Bluecoat Chambers in Liverpool. Experimenting with photography and print making. An instillation consiting ofpermable dry stacked timber which lets light seep through.
