WEIGHTWATCHER: INTERVENTION won off a handicap mark of 87, his rating is now down 6lb to 81. LONGEST TRAVELLER: ROHAAN trained by D Evans, Abergavenny, 146 miles.
ROHAAN was noted finishing to good effect when fourth in a race not run to suit over C&D 22 days ago and, operating from a very handy mark, he’s selected to come out on top in the hope he gets a good gallop to aim at. Flying Fletcher and Many A Star, who is enjoying a fine winter, are others on the shortlist.
