The words you are about to read are true. They will change your life. He loves you. And He is the Father you have been looking for all your life.
This is His love letter to you.
My Child,
Father’s Love Letter
You may not know me, but I know everything about you. (1) I know when you sit down and when you rise up. (2) I am familiar with all your ways. (3) Even the very hairs on your head are numbered. (4) For you were made in my image. (5) In me you live and move and have your being, (6) I knew you even before you were conceived. (7) I chose you when I planned creation. (8) You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book. (9) I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live. (10) You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (11) I knit you together in your mother's womb. (12) And brought you forth on the day you were born. (13) I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me. (14) I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love. (15) And it is my desire to lavish my love on you. Simply because you are my child and I am your Father. (16) I offer you more than your earthly father ever could. (17) For I am the perfect father. (18) Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand. (19) For I am your provider and I meet all your needs. (20) My plan for your future has always been filled with hope. (21) Because I love you with an everlasting love. (22) My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore. (23) And I rejoice over you with singing. (24) I will never stop doing good to you. (25) For you are my treasured possession. (26) I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul. (27) And I want to show you great and marvelous things. (28) If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me. (29) Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart. (30) For it is I who gave you those desires. (31) I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine. (32) For I am your greatest encourager. (33) I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles. (34) When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you. (35) As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to my heart. (36) One day I will wipe away every tear from your eyes. And I'll take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth. (37) I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus. (38) For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed. (39) He is the exact representation of my being. (40) He came to demonstrate that I am for you, not against you. (41) And to tell you that I am not counting your sins. Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled. (42) His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you. (43) I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love. (44) If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me. (45) And nothing will ever separate you from my love again. (46) Come home and I'll throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen. (47) I have always been Father, and will always be Father. (48) My question is… Will you be my child? (49) I am waiting for you. (50)

560 S. Main St., West Milton & 937-698-5515 CAMP LIFE FOR THE CIVIL WAR SOLDIER Throughout the month of April, the library has the honor of showcasing Civil War memorabilia donated by Rex Maggert. On Thursday, April 28, at 6:30, Rex Maggert will present his stories taken straight from two diaries kept during the Civil War that share the daily struggles each private soldier faced during the war. The diaries touch on what it took to feed yourself when food was scarce, the daily marches of 15 miles with full packs, time spent in prison camps, and letters from cousins on opposite sides of the battle. The collection of stories is accompanied by pictures and photographs, including one taken at the Miami County Fairgrounds when local Civil War vets gathered for a reunion around 1914. Join us in welcoming Mr. Maggert and learning more about our hometown heroes. For Information About the Above Event, Contact the Library 937-698-5515 www.mupubliclibrary.org
Arens Employee to Retire ‘It’s a Family Thing’ Many of our Stillwater Valley Advertiser, Penny Saver, and Country Living customers are familiar with the cheerful voice of Marty Speer, who works alongside Kim Rindler in Joe & Marty our office, handling the Speer day-to-day business at Arens Corp. Sadly for this family-run publication, Marty has decided to hang up her Arens phone for good. On a happier note, Joe, Marty’s husband, is looking forward to the many vacations and adventures they can begin checking off their “bucket list.” Marty first started working for Arens in 1979, when her motherin-law, the late Boots Speer, who worked in our newsroom, suggested she help out just one day a week, which suited this young mother of one little boy just fine. Gradually, Marty’s responsibilities increased, and she found herself helping out in the Circulation Dept. for 10 years, working full-time by 1980. Around 1990, a position became available in our office and, as they say, “the rest is history.” Country Living advertisers will remember the late John Speer, Marty’s father-in-law, who worked as a sales representative for a number of years for Arens’ monthly farm publication. John never met a stranger and was well-liked and respected by both customers and co-workers. Keeping the tradition in the Speer family, Marty’s husband, Joe, a retired police officer, also did a stint for Arens, taking care of grounds maintenance and driving weekly routes to pick-up advertising copy. “Arens is truly a family-oriented business, and I want to thank – from the bottom of my heart – Gary and Ginger Godfrey and all the remarkable people I have worked with and have gotten to know over the phone,” said Marty. “You have blessed me on this journey. It saddens me to see my years at Arens coming to a close, but I look forward to spending more time with Joe, our three sons, their wives, and our two wonderful grandsons.” Marty’s retirement not only will bring a big change in her life, but her co-workers will certainly miss having her as part of our work day. She made even the most hectic of days more bearable. We wish Marty and Joe many years of happy travels and memorable adventures!

UVMC Receives Healthgrades Award for Patient Safety Premier Health’s Upper Valley Medical Center has been named a recipient of the 2022 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ by Healthgrades. This is the sixth consecutive year the Patient Safety Excellence Award™ has ranked UVMC among the top 10 percent of hospitals in the nation for patient safety. The award recognizes hospitals for their performance in safeguarding patients from serious and potentially preventable complications during their hospital stay. Recipient hospitals have the lowest occurrences of 14 preventable patient safety events, including injuries, infections, and other serious conditions. The award is based on inpatient data from the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review database and software from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. “This distinction reflects our providers’ and staff’s ongoing dedication in providing quality care to our patients,” said Kevin Harlan, president of UVMC. “We believe this underscores the peace of mind that our patients and families can have in knowing that they and their loved ones are in good hands at UVMC and Premier Health.” Award recipient hospitals “exemplify the value of a patient-centric culture, and commitment to delivering the best outcomes and experiences for patients,” reported Healthgrades. Healthgrades analyzes patient outcome data on more than 45 million Medicare medical claims records for the most recent three-year period available for nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Other measures on which the award is based include patient survey data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and patient outcome data for all patients from states that make their data available. Healthgrades provides information about physicians, hospitals, and health care providers throughout the United States and has amassed information on more than three million U.S. health care providers.
