Manchester City Women What We’re Missing
Special Lockdown Edition
Coach Statement
I wish I could be saying ‘Welcome to the Acadamy Stadium’ as usual, but unfortunately, due to current circumstances, I’m unabe to. I speak for all of the players and staff when I say we miss you all terribly. However, I can say welcome to a special edition of the Manchester City Womens match day programme. Though there is no new match for you to sit at watch, we encourage that you go back and watch highlights of previous games from this season and from the seasons before. This programme will be full of photos and memories from this season. Enjoy and we hope to see you all very soon. Stay home, stay safe and protect the NHS.

Captain’s Statement
Hello City fans! I hope you’re all keeping well and safe. We all miss you so much! None of us thought that this could be how the football season could end. We’re hoping we get to finish the season, we have been improving week by week, and still have so much left to prove. Hopefully we get the chance to. Ideally it wont be behind closed doors, we need our fan’s support, especially in these confusing times. But we will do what we have to so we can get the job done, when the time comes. I’ll leave you with this parting message. Thank you for your continued support. Thank you for the messages and videos you’re all sending in, and keep them coming. Stay healthy and fit during lockdown and we will see you all soon!

City News
Tom Flathers, one of the official photographers for the club, has always been told by members of staff is that he is obsessed with sunsets. Though he claims he isn’t good at landscape photography, one thing you can always count on from Tom is a decent photo of the Etihad with a gorgeous dusk sky behind it. Though some of the images from the collection he has going aren’t all from lockdown, he thought while he was on his walks he would take a city shirt or two with him and see what photos he could capture in th environments he passes. We think they’re basically perfect in every way!
Meet The Mascots
Straight from the Blue Moon, Moonchester and Moonbeam provide happiness and laughter to all Manchester City supports of all ages. How can you tell the difference, I hear you say. Well, Moonchester has green ears and bigger eyes, whereas Moonbeam has purple ears, smaller eyes and hair on the top of her alien head.
