this camera has 10.1mp (mega pixel) lens, witch is actually quite good if you want to take good focused pictures of things like people or nature.

The Digic processor on the cannon 1000D was made to make the image quality much more better. It was also made for faster operation, for longer battery life and for faster interface to the SD memory card.

The cleaning system on this camera keeps the camera in top condition, like when you turn off the camera it will spend a little time cleaning the lens so that when you turn it back on you will be able to see to take amazing photos, that will be really clear, not fuzzy at all.

The autofocus makes the pictures even more better because it can focus the photo on one thing.

Basically the auto focus has 6 point that it can focus too. For example if you was taking a picture of a person and you wanted people to concentrate on that person when they look at it then thats what the autofocus will do for you.

There are a lot of detachable lenses for this camera and the lenses are all different because they can all zoom in a different ways and so they don't get dust on the lenses or the camera and the photo will be dusty and the pic will be mucked uip because of the dust.
