A4: Maquette OVERVIEW: AIMS: ● The aim of this assignment is for you build a 3D maquette of your previous assignment (A3: Figure). DEVELOPMENT: ● This is the 2nd of two main assignments for the Figure project. After learning and understanding the purpose of the maquette, and drawing a set of net diagrams, you will then construct your own maquette model. This will be a small 3D figure based on your previous assignment. OUTCOME: ● The main/ final outcome (A4: Maquette) should be a small card model based on your painting of a figure of your own choice. Your maquette should look like your earlier painting as much as possible using proportions and appropriate colour schemes. Some students even use fabric to cover their maquette making it more realistic.
