Art'è, nata recentemente, ma composta da un team di curatori indipendenti con esperienza decennale, si occupa della promozione dell'arte in tutte le sue innumerevoli sfaccettature attraverso eventi mirati, mostra d'arte contemporanea e di valorizzazione del territorio. Il lavoro del curatore d’arte oggi, è una professione decisamente onnivora, fatta di spostamenti, nuove conoscenze, scoperte, studio continuo. Un lavoro che conduce in realtà sfaccettate e visioni spesso antitetiche. L’arte, invece, costringe a soffermarsi, ad osservare; è visione alternativa, ricerca di senso, articolazione di pensiero, processo di conoscenza e di approfondimento. Con la sua capacità di fare leva sulla sensibilità può favorire un rapporto riflessivo, di prossimità e di empatia, rispetto al contesto. Per questo crediamo che oggi i messaggi che l’arte può trasmettere siano più che mai preziosi. Si tratta di contribuire a risvegliare la sensibilità e l’attenzione. Ogni opera è un affaccio, una finestra sul mondo. Ogni artista ci trascina nel proprio universo e nello stesso tempo interseca questioni e sentire condivisi, convoglia qualcosa che afferisce al mondo in cui viviamo e appartiene a molti. Poiché ogni artista è un mondo a sé stante, quello che l’arte ci offre è uno straordinario caleidoscopio di vissuti e di visioni. Art'è, operante in tutto il territorio, si rende disponibile per curatela di mostre personali, bi-personali o collettive nelle più belle città Italiane, in Gallerie, Palazzi Storici e Musei.
Art'è, founded recently, but made up of a team of independent curators with decades of experience, deals with the promotion of art in all its many facets through targeted events, contemporary art exhibitions and the enhancement of the territory. The work of an art curator today is a decidedly omnivorous profession, made up of journeys, new knowledge, discoveries and continuous study. A job that leads to multifaceted realities and visions that are often antithetical. Art, on the other hand, forces us to pause, to observe; it is an alternative vision, a search for meaning, an articulation of thought, a process of knowledge and investigation. With its ability to appeal to sensitivity it can foster a reflective relationship of proximity and empathy with respect to the context. This is why we believe that today the messages that art can convey are more valuable than ever. It is a question of helping to awaken sensitivity and attention. Each work is an outlook, a window on the world. Each artist draws us into his or her own universe and at the same time intersects shared issues and feelings, conveys something that relates to the world we live in and belongs to many. Since each artist is a world unto himself, what art offers us is an extraordinary kaleidoscope of experiences and visions. Art'è, operating throughout Italy, is available to curate solo, bi-personal or group exhibitions in the most beautiful Italian cities, in galleries, historical buildings and museums.

Nasce a Stoccarda e vive in un piccolo villaggio chiamato Beilstein incastonato tra vigneti, foreste e castelli, si diploma alla scuola superiore Friedrich Schiller nel 1998. Dopo aver completato il servizio nazionale nel 2000, si dedica a una delle sue più grandi passioni, l’arte. È qui infatti che inizia il suo periodo di formazione tecnica e artistica presso i Teatri di Stato di Stoccarda. Diventa il pittore teatrale statale per il più grande teatro di balletto e Teatro d'opera del mondo, "Die Staatstheater Stuttgart". Ha fondato 55 Stages GmbH & Co.KG. Un'azienda di scenografie, esposizioni e design. Tra i suoi clienti troviamo Hugo Boss, Mercedes Benz, Expo 2008 padiglione tedesco, Bruno Banani, Feraud Paris e molti altri. Collaborazione con grandi agenzie pubblicitarie, direttori artistici e rinomati scenografi e gallerie. Attualmente sta portando avanti numerosi progetti artistici insieme alla sua compagna sotto il nome dell'artista: SOCHRI.
Born in a small village named Beilstein embedded between vineyards, forests and robber baron castles. Graduated from Friedrich Schiller High school in 1998. Art & Mathematik. After completing national service in 2000, there followed a time of travel. Beginning of 2001 I was drawn to the sea and worked on different vessels. Summer 2001-2004: Technical and artistic education at the Stuttgart State Theaters. 2004-2013: state theater painter for the largest Ballet-Theater and Opera house in the world, „Die Staatstheater Stuttgart!. 2004-2013: Undertook various private painting commissions. Founded 55 Stages GmbH&Co.KG. A set/stage/exhibition and design company. Working with clients such as: Hugo Boss, Mercedes Benz, Expo 2008 german Pavillon, Bruno Banani, Feraud Paris and many more… Cooperation with various large advertising agencies, art directors and renowned stage designers. Private sales of my paintings 2013 until now: Working for Schauspielhaus Zürich in part time. Large-scale paintings for the stages, material imitations, costume painting… Private assignments, shows and private sales of my artworks. Partnerships with different galleries. NFT art projects together with my girlfriend under the artist name: SOCHRI.
L’arte di Christoph Felix Maier è un ‘arte poliedrica, che si esplica su grandi superfici di tele e tavole, a ricordare l’esperienza di scenografo teatrale, parte fondamentale dell’esperienza formativa del pittore tedesco. Nelle sue opere troviamo più livelli, temi e linguaggi dell’arte e dell’esistenza. Troviamo il mondo terreno e dei sensi, una pittura quasi “epidermica”, rappresentata da grandi opere informali, dove predominano i rosa, i colori della carnalità della passione e del sangue, come l’opera che dà il titolo alla personale, per arrivare ad opere dove i colori dominanti sono quelli delle terre e dei verdi delle più varie tonalità, vergati sulla tela con pennellate e campiture decise e dense, a formare grumi di colore e rilievi, richiamo alla tradizione della pittura materica, sino ad arrivare ad opere che toccano la figurazione e che rappresentano paesaggi, appena accennati, da abili tocchi di pennello. Queste gamme di colore e queste campiture dense e grumose, si alleggeriscono, in altre opere dell’autore, quasi ad “elevarsi”. Troviamo gamme di blu chiari e scuri, viola e le atmosfere che suscitano questi lavori diventano più leggere, quasi a voler rappresentare un livello più alto, un livello celeste, apice di questo “momento pittorico” si trovano in opere di atmosfere astrali, quasi fantascientifiche, che rappresentano immagini di pianeti remoti, ammassi stellari, nebulose e buchi neri dello spazio più profondo si materializzano nelle tele, qui create dal pittore scegliendo brevi tocchi di pennello decisi, sino a scomporre i colori in punti di colore. A concludere questo immaginario itinerario dal terreno, agli strati superiori, troviamo la dimensione dell’oltre, della spiritualità, con richiami anche alla mitologia e alla religiosità di popoli lontani. Un viaggio vero e proprio quello di Christoph, in grado di portare lo spettatore in un turbine di diversi colori e stati d’animo che in questa esposizione dialogano e si contrappongono tra loro trasportandoci dall’alto al basso, dall’oscurità alla luce, dal terreno al celestiale, dal profano al divino.
Art’è Contemporary Art
Christoph Felix Maier's art is multifaceted, expressed on large surfaces of canvases and panels, recalling his experience as a theatre painter, a fundamental part of the German painter's training experience. In his works we find several levels, themes and languages of art and existence. We find the earthly world and the senses, an almost "epidermal" painting, represented by large informal works, where pinks predominate, the colours of the carnality of passion and blood, like the work that gives the title to the personal exhibition, to arrive at works where the dominant colours are those of earths and greens of the most varied tonalities, They are painted on the canvas with decisive and dense brushstrokes and backgrounds, forming clots of colour and reliefs, a reminder of the tradition of material painting, up to works that touch on figuration and represent landscapes, barely hinted at by skilful touches of the brush. These ranges of colour and these dense, lumpy backgrounds become lighter in other works by the artist, almost as if they were "elevated". We find ranges of light and dark blues, violet and the atmospheres these works evoke become lighter, almost as if they wanted to represent a higher level, a celestial level. The apex of this "pictorial moment" can be found in works of astral atmospheres, almost science fiction, which represent images of remote planets, star clusters, nebulae and black holes from deepest space materialise in the canvases, here created by the painter by choosing short, decisive brushstrokes, until the colours are broken down into dots. To conclude this imaginary itinerary from the ground to the upper layers, we find the dimension of the beyond, of spirituality, with references to the mythology and religiosity of distant peoples. Christoph's is a real journey, capable of taking the spectator into a whirlwind of different colours and moods, which in this exhibition dialogue and contrast with each other, transporting us from high to low, from darkness to lightness, from the earthly to the celestial, from the profane to the divine.

Interview with the Artist
Caro Christoph, volevamo ringraziarti per aver accettato il nostro invito nel fare questa intervista. È infatti molto importante, stabilire un rapporto professionale ed amichevole con gli artisti che hanno scelto Art'è e che hanno scelto di affidarsi a noi. Iniziamo ora, a parlare di re e della tua arte. Sei un'artista molto giovane, nato alla fine degli anni 70 e che sta avendo un incredibile successo sia in Svizzera, dove vivi, che nel resto d'Europa. La nostra prima domanda non può che essere:
Qual è il segreto della tua arte? Chi è veramente Christoph quando dipinge? Io sono io, il momento, il subconscio, i sentimenti, i colori, il caos, la coincidenza, le sigarette. Il segreto della mia arte è in ogni singola persona, devono solo riconoscerlo da soli.
Com’è il tuo approccio creativo? Cogli l'attimo e fallo tuo. Caos, materiale di colore. Riduci te stesso all'essenziale. La pittura è colore con materiali diversi su di differenti materiali di supporto.
Puoi citare un artista, un'opera o una serie di progetti artistici che ti hanno particolarmente influenzato/ispirato nel tuo lavoro di artista? Vincent Willem van Gogh, Max Ernst, Caspar David Friedrich, Otto Dix, Albert Uderzo, la natura, l'anima l'universo, Sophie.
Cosa ti ha spinto ad intraprendere îl tuo percorso di artista? La gioia di lavorare con un'ampia varietà di materiali, che posso sporcarmi sul lavoro, che posso pulire caffè, vino, vernice, tabacco sulla mia maglietta, che ho sempre il venerdì libero, che alla fine della giornata posso dire di aver fatto qualcosa con le mie mani ed aver creato con il mio cuore. Ho amore per l'artigianato e per la pittura.
Quanta improvvisazione c'è nelle tue opere? 100%
Cos’è per te fare Arte oggi? Essere liberi, con l'arte e attraverso l'arte.
L'arte per te è ricerca continua? Nuove tecniche, nuove soluzioni? No, l'arte non dovrebbe mai essere una ricerca consapevole, ma una scoperta Subconscia. Ma senza aver trovato te stesso, sei sempre alla ricerca di quella giusta espressione. In altre parole, quando la musa ti trova, la ricerca è finita. Grazie Sophie. Per me le nuove tecniche non sono mai soluzioni forse perché, a mio avviso, non c'è nulla da risolvere. Ci sono molti altri nuovi modi di cognizione e fantastiche possibilità per farle.
L'Arte è rappresentazione o reinterpretazione? L'Arte è un veicolo di messaggi? Sfortunatamente, l’arte è entrambe le cose. Perché interpretare e rappresentare sempre? Devi sentire l'arte nel tuo cuore e innescare qualcosa di emotivo in ogni singola persona. L'arte, come molte cose, è originariamente pura e usata in modo improprio per messaggi di ogni tipo. Quindi sì, arte è un veicolo per messaggi... e non di rado il biglietto viene venduto a caro prezzo e pagato altrettanto.
In che modo il cosmo ispira la tua arte? Come mai questo forte legame che troviamo nelle tue opere? Anche a me piacerebbe saperlo… …Forse è la ricerca delle nostre origini e il desiderio di libertà che fa sì che l’anima guardi le stelle.
Oltre al Cosmo troviamo anche elementi completamente diversi tra loro e di cui vediamo invece tracce nelle tue opere. Penso ad esempio alle civiltà Precolombiane o alla sua opera intitolata Quetzalcoatl, il serpente piumato che rappresentava una divinità, come mai? Da dove deriva il tuo interesse verso questo tipo di arte e la sua mitologia? Le antiche culture sono strettamente legate al cosmo. Erano tutti molto più avanti rispetto noi. Avevano una maestria e metodi tecnici impressionanti con un'ampia varietà di oggetti d'arte e dipinti che riflettevano rappresentazioni di divinità e vita extraterrestre. Nei loro edifici possiamo ancora trovate statue, formazioni in pietra, murales, ecc., conservati fino ad oggi, che contengono misteri della propria origine. Lo trovo affascinante.
È solo una logica deduzione imbattersi n teste di pietra sudamericane o serpenti piumati di Kosmos.
Questo interesse come ha influenzato, se ha influenzato, la sua produzione artistica? Inconsciamente, perché inizio sempre a lavorare senza un piano o un concerto. Caos, colore, materiale. L'arte dovrebbe essere libera, scatenata, eccessiva, plasmata dal momento e focalizzata sull'essenziale. Non mi siedo e decido: oggi dipingerò Quetzalcoatl, il serpente piumato che solo attraverso i suoi pensieri ha creato la prima montagna del mondo. Diventa evidente solo durante il processo di lavorazione cosa vuole uscire da me. Quel giorno era Quetzalcoatl.
Sei molto legato all'Italia, cosa rappresenta per del nostro Paese? Per me l'Italia è un'antica cultura e una delle culle della pittura. Significa cibo fantastico, vini sensazionali, amore con il mio Amore, architettura e giardini incredibili, persone emotive, appassionate, grande dramma, grande onore, musica, paesaggi mozzafiato, Bud Spencer, Alberto Tomba, Marco Pantani, Ferrari, Eros Ramazzotti e si, di tanto in tanto giochi bene anche a calcio :)
Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri? A che cosa stai lavorando in questo momento? Dipingi il più possibile, tutto resto è un extra.
Dear Christoph, We wanted to thank you for accepting our invitation to do this interview. It is indeed very important, to establish a professional and friendly relationship with che artists who have chosen Art’è and who have chosen to relay on us. Let’s now start talking about you and your art. You are a very young artist born at the end of che 1970s, who is having incredible success both in Switzerland, where you live, and in the rest of Europe. Can you name an artist, a work or a series of artists projects that have particularly influenced, inspired you in your work as an artist? Vincent Willem van Gogh, Max Ernst, Caspar David Friedrich, Otto Dix, Albert Uderzo, nature, the soul the universe, Sophie. What motivated you to embark on your path as an artist? The joy of working with a wide variety of materials, that I can get dirty at work, that i can clean coffe, wine, paint, tobacco on my shirt, that i always have Fridays off, that at the end of the day I can say i made something with my hands and created with my heart. I have a love for handicrafts and paintings. How much improvisation is there in your work? 100% What is making art today for you? To be free, with art and through art Is art for you continuous research? New techniques, new solutions? No, art should never be a conscious search, but a subconscious discorery. But without having found yourself, you are always searching for that right expression. In other words, when the muse finds you, the search is over Thank you Sophie.
For me, new techniques are never solutions, perhaps because, in my opinion there is nothing to solve. There are may new ways of cognition and fancastic possibilities for making them. Is art representation or reinterpretation? Is art a vehicle for messages? Unfortunately, art is both. Why interpret and represent all the time? You have to feel artim your heart ané crigger something etsotonsl in every Single person. Art, like many things, is originally pure and mused for all kinds of messages. So yes, art is a vehicle for messages... and not infrequently the ticket is sold dearly and paid for as much. How does the cosmos inspire your art? Why this strong link that we find in your works? I would like to know that to. Perhaps it is the search for our origins and the desire for freedom that makes the soul look to the stars. In addition to the Cosmos, we also find elements that are completely different from each other and of which we see traces in your work. I am thinking, for example, of pre- Columbian cvilizations or your work entitled Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent representing a divinity, why is that? Where does your interest in this type of art and its mythology come from? Ancient cultures are closely Iinked to the cosmos. They were all far ahead of us. They had impressive craftmanship and technical metods with a wide variety of art objects and paintings reflecting representations of deities and extraterrestrial life.
In their buildings we can still find statues, stone formations, murals, etc, preserved to this days, which contain mysteries of their origin. I find this fascinating. It is only a logical deduction to come across South American stone heads or feathered serpents fom Kosmos, How has this interest influenced, if at all, your artistic production? Unconsciously, because i always start working without a plan or a concept. Chaos, colour, material. Art should be free, unrestrained, excessive, shaped by the moment and focused on the essential. I do not sit down and decide: today i am going to paint Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent who only through his thoughts created the first mountain in the world. It only becomes clear during the process what he wants to get out of me. That day it was Quetzalcoatl. You are very close to Italy, what does our country represent for you? For me Italy is an ancient culture and one of the cradles of painting. It means fantastic food, sensational wines, love with my Love, incredible architecture and gardens, emotional, passionate people, great drama, great honour, music, breathtaking landscapes, Bud Spencer, Alberto Tomba, Marco Pantani, Ferrari, Eros Ramazzotti and yes, you also play good football from time to time.
