TECHNOLOGY
We have calculation tools to make complex geometries and not only simple axisymmetric constructions on your projects. We can assist you on projects designing earphones, micro speakers, loudspeakers, mechanical vibrators or even variability studies predicting some of the variations that might show up in the early DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis). The simulation driven product development project of a virtual prototype of a loudspeaker, allows a significant reduction in the number of physical prototypes, as well as reduced development time. This 6.5 inch woofer has a varying thickness piston at the second eigenfrequency. The Artlinco acoustic innovation team has here considered local internal damping, mass, density, composite materials, thickness and other properties. Other interesting parameters could be the frequency response or a transient analysis of a speaker.

The Ortofon DJ Headshell focuses on the DJs, and while Artlinco’s designers have sought inspiration in the dynamic and colorful DJ subculture, the overall shape was inspired by the optipus. During the concept and design phase the remarkable Headshell took form while the technicians were busy creating a single piece solution in cast aluminum that also made it easy for DJs to choose between three different weights. “The headshell fully meets our expectations. Professional Audio Innovation The Artlinco Acoustic Innovation record is about holistic and seamless innovation - about creating and driving the product innovation process from strategic need or wish to a user (customer) experience – a performing product.
