Path The creation of CIESS resulted from the need expressed by the InterAmerican
Conference
on
Social
Security (CISS) member institutions to have a permanent space for training in social security. Since its creation, the educational programs have permanently adapted to the needs posed by the evolution and development of national and regional social
security.
This
permanent
updating of the educational labor has brought about a valid debate and analysis forum where all ideas and doctrines can be shared. Among the strengths that characterize its academic activities it is possible to mention that they address, from an interdisciplinary approach, the most transcendent particularities of social security in the continent, by studying each issue from its starting point until the reform processes lived. To this effect, there has been support from a portfolio of specialists from
