For 100 years, the International Institute of Connecticut has built a legacy of leadership, compassionate service and effective advocacy for immigrants, refugees and survivors of human trafficking and torture in Connecticut. Today, we continue this proud heritage under a new name: Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants Our New Name celebrates a century of vital services that empower refugees and immigrants to thrive in Connecticut. Our New Logo draws inspiration from Connecticut’s State tree: the oak — a symbol of strength, resilience and endurance.
