THE STAND’S MAIN AREAS FOCUS ON MANUTTI’S CORE PRODUCTS: STATE-OF-THE-ART, COSY OUTDOOR SPACES TO ENJOY A MEAL, RELAX OR CATCH UP WITH YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS OR FAMILY.
Manutti aims to create better life experiences for its customers, making family get-togethers and quality time with friends more comfortable and easy to enjoy. That’s why the Mediterranean, Europe’s cradle of hospitality, has been the beacon of inspiration behind our stand. Wooden floors and terraces overlooking the sea create clear space hierarchies, while the comfortable benches invite visitors for more informal meetings. The Mediterrenean setting is completed with the presence of trees, wafting nature’s colours and fragrances all over the stand. Congratulations, you’ve reached the one stand you’ll never want to leave. ❚

ANTEPRIMA / PREVIEW
Kumo, Airy design Kumo, the Japanese word for cloud, is a light, tautly designed and contemporary seating island that will be previewed at the Salone del Mobile, introducing the new season’s outdoor trends. This playful and airy sofa concept comes with two modules that can be used in different outdoor and indoor settings, both privately and publicly, large or small: intimately, on a terrace or by the pool, but also in the reception area of hotels or in public buildings.
Kumo invites you to create a personalised outdoor cocoon: its concept with interchangeable covers comes in different shapes and sizes, decorative pillows, sit and back cushions which you can choose from the extensive Manutti fabrics range. The armrests and back supports are easily adjustable and can be moved around, transforming the Kumo cloud into a plush sofa or stylish lounger, a lounge chair or cool footrest. Mixing and matching was never this easy!

Moon Island the perfect relaxing destination The new Moon Island collection designed by Gerd Couckhuyt surprises you with a playful concept: four ‘islands’ to be combined around a central coffee table or footrest. The design is simple and pure and gives your imagination plenty of room to wander: from a lounge sofa to a large lounge island. The covers come in white, blue and sand colour. The technical composition of the materials – polyurethane foam filling, waterproof nautic leather or nautic textiles finish and aluminium structure – guarantees maximum lounge and seating comfort all year round.

DESIGNER PORTRAIT GERD COUCKHUYT Gerd Couckhuyt (1970) is a Belgian designer who finds inspiration in visual and emotional stimuli in everyday life. In 2012, he created the Mood lounge and coffee tables for Manutti, as well as the Loop chair and various side tables. Two years later Manutti received the ‘Red Dot Award for Product Design’ in the ‘Gardens – Lounge Furniture’ category for the Elements collection he designed in 2013. In 2014 he created the playful sofa concept Moon Island.

My Milano
FAVOURITE BARS AND RESTAURANTS BY JÉRÔME PRUD’HOMME (MARCOM MANAGER)
JÉRÔME PRUD’HOMME
I fell in love with Milan the first time I visited the city. What charmed me most, apart from the c aptivating mix of historical architecture and modern design, was the city’s vibrant and cosmopolitan a tmosphere. Over the past fifteen years I have been introduced to Milan’s rich culinary traditions in the authentic setting of its various bars and restaurants. As for me, I cannot wait to visit the city again. I hope you find your ideal bar(s) or restaurant(s) when you browse through this list of my favourite places in the fashion city.

The kitchen of Charles and Camilla is entrusted to the Chef Emanuele Romagna Pollini and a team of young chefs, under the direction of Chef Carlo Cracco. The culinary offer is a concert of flavors clear and unexpected details. The origin of all are the raw materials of the highest quality, selected in full compliance with the seasons and favoring the production of the territory. The dishes are made with simplicity and rigor, reinterpreting the tradition in a contemporary version. The menu changes every forty-five days but there are some proposals constants.
