Levenhall Links, Musselburgh Getting there Levenhall Links, Musselburgh, is a wonderful reserve specifically built for wildlife and only a 10 minute train ride from Edinburgh. Free shuttle buses can transport you straight to our door from Wallyford and Newcraighall stations and public buses run from Edinburgh city centre along Musselburgh High Street to the site. Free parking is available if you are bringing the car and the Links is easy to reach by bike. Join us for a wild day out at Scotland’s Big Nature Festival and keep wildlife explorers of all ages entertained in the great outdoors.

Roll up your sleeves and dive in to pond dipping, go on the hunt for elusive mini-beasts and hop aboard a seabird cruise. Learn more about Scotland’s amazing wildlife with hands-on workshops, nature walks and talks, or watch birds in the hand at our ringing demonstrations – you might even be lucky enough to release one!

Presenters from children’s TV will be joining us for the weekend. CBeebies presenters Rory Crawford and Ferne Corrigan will lead storytelling sessions for the little ones and CBBC stars Leah and Ricky Boleto will be running workshops for budding presenters of the future. With over 100 stalls, live music and scrumptious local food and drink, Scotland’s Big Nature Festival is not to be missed!
