East Lothian Citizens’ Panel
Want to share your views? Join our Citizens’ Panel The East Lothian Partnership* is setting up a Citizens’ Panel to help gather the views of a cross section of the East Lothian population on a regular basis. Panel members will be asked for their views on issues such as quality of life, health and wellbeing and safety, as well as on their satisfaction with public services. The information gathered will help public sector organisations such as the Council, NHS, Fire & Rescue Service and the Police to plan and make improvements to the services they provide locally.
Two main surveys will be sent to Panel members each year, although there may be an opportunity to complete smaller surveys now and again or to take part in focus group discussions (members can opt to take part in these when completing the recruitment questionnaire). Panel members can choose to receive paper surveys through the post or to complete surveys online – the latter helping the Council to reduce printing and postage costs. Citizens’ Panel members need to be aged 16 or over and living in East Lothian.
