How safe is your child online? Parents/Carers E-Safety Information Session Tuesday 29th September, 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Saltire Room, John Muir House, Haddington. All parents invited. If you’ve ever wondered how safe your child is online, and how you can support them to make their Internet use safer, please come along to this free event.    

Interactive session run by Respect Me (respectme.org.uk) Will set the scene and context of Children and Internet Safety Will provide a practical hands-on session Top tips on how to set privacy and security settings on social media platforms such as Facebook  Bring your own device to connect to the open Wi-Fi network This free practical training is designed to increase parents' and carers' awareness of bullying and the other risks and challenges children and young people face online. It includes a practical, hands-on session on social media, looking at how to set and manage profiles and privacy settings, to help ensure that children and young people are safe online.
