Roswell Cultural Arts — Where the Arts Meets Life

Roswell Cultural Arts launches its new season of live performance with captivating events, including concerts, family programs, and outdoor performances. Explore the music that makes up the fabric of America with season headliners American Patchwork Quartet and local bandleader Joe Gransden and his 17-piece big band, starting with Gransden’s Sinatra and Friends, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 1. This event hearkens back to the days of big bands and highlights the roots of jazz in America through artists like Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. Closing out the month on Friday, October 27, the multiple Grammywinning artists of American Patchwork Quartet present classic American heritage music, such as Shenandoah, Gone for a Soldier, Wayfaring Stranger, and more. Filtered through the lenses of the artist’s own respective cultures, these arrangements are at once familiar and thrillingly original.

Roswell Cultural Arts concludes its 2023 Riverside Sounds series with vocal powerhouse Jackie Venson on Saturday, September 23, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Riverside Park. Jackie Venson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter known far and wide for her complexly beautiful music and blazing guitar skills. City Springs Theatre Company is Bringing Jersey Boys to the Stage

It took the entire five years, but the Sandy Springs-based City Springs Theatre Company finally acquired the rights to a show they’d had their eye on since their 2018 inaugural season — the megahit, Jersey Boys. The licensing rights to the Tony-winning Best Musical about the music group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons became available a few weeks after the company had announced it’s sixth season of shows at the Byers Theatre.
