EUROPEAN AEROSPACE QUALITY GROUP (EAQG)

In 2022, the EAQG remained active in its membership by adding five additional members, increasing the overall listing to 45 and succeeding in having all the European trade associations as members. This allows the EAQG to listen better to the voice of the small to medium enterprises as well as improve our understanding of our supply chain.

One of the most important initiatives this year was to support the SDO change and give our EAQG members the proper level of awareness, alignment, and contribution. This support means changing the relationship we have with the current EAQG publisher, AST-STAN and, through strengthening the European stakeholder’s network, understanding a new way to do the work with our global SDO partner SAE. The EAQG also reactivated the Early Careers Project welcoming several companies sponsoring this important initiative to both foster the knowledge transfer to the next generation and inject new ideas and perspectives in the Association.
