WE ARE SNAP ONE It’s been almost a year since SnapAV + Control4 rebranded as Snap One. Here Mark Reynolds, Vice President & General Manager EMEA for Snap One, shares brand and product updates for the year ahead as unveiled at the recent Snap One Virtual Partner Summit. It’s an exciting time for Snap One – we are approaching one year since we rebranded and there are a series of positive developments and innovations ahead for our partners. Behind the scenes, Snap One has been continually enhancing our solutions, and services, with a goal to become the integrator’s most valued and trusted partner on every installation. At Snap One, we are committed to keeping things simple for our partners. It’s a refreshing vision that saves time, cost and hassle in product choice and system design, installation, integration and after-care. At our recent Virtual Partner Summit, we unveiled an array of products across several categories that further our mission to serve as the onestop supplier that our partners can depend on worldwide. Our entire product ecosystem is anchored on two award-winning technology platforms, Control4 Smart Home OS 3 and OvrC Remote Management. These platforms are at the forefront of our investment and innovation plans, providing a strong base on which to build brilliant end-to-end control projects. Control4 Smart Home OS 3 is the operating system for smart homes, designed to unify hundreds of connected devices within the home into one intuitive, user-friendly

experience. Meanwhile, OvrC is our free cloudbased remote management platform designed exclusively for professionals. Snap One solutions also encompass leading brands in Networking & Remote Management, Lighting, Speakers, Amplifiers, Multi-Room Audio, Surveillance, Power and Surge, Film Screens, Racks, Mounts, Cables Connectors and Wiring.
WE’RE IN CONTROL
Control4 OS 3.3.0 has seen major improvements as we provide more and more personalised experiences for customers, as well as create the features and functions that will come to define the next generation of control. We have recently expanded the entertainment capabilities of the Control4 Platform with a suite of customisable features. Ryff is the new name for our high-resolution native streaming audio platform within Control4 and provides the highest in audio quality, decoding at up to 192kHz sample rate, at full 24 bit-depth, and includes MQA support among other features. Coming soon is a brand-new line of Control4 CORE Series Controllers that boast faster processors, more zones of built-in audio, higher quality Digital to Analogue Converters, and a
4K on-screen user interface. The new CORE series will include three versions for different sized projects that require varying features and functionalities.
REMOTE MANAGEMENT & NETWORKING
OvrC continues to support our networking brands - Araknis and Pakedge - and we’ve enriched its feature-set to make the ecosystem better, faster, and more reliable. Now, every Control4 OS3 system can be remotely managed using OvrC, without the need for any additional hardware. Today, OvrC includes one of the largest ecosystems of integrated products from both Snap One and leading third-party manufacturers.
