EACH MONTH WE’LL BE CHECKING IN WITH THE VHS FOR THE LATEST GOOD NEWS AND TO HELP FIND FUREVER HOMES FOR SOME OF THEIR MORE UNIQUE AND OLDER RESIDENTS
KEVIN: Looking for a guy that’s not into playing games? One that will talk your ear off, but is also a good listener? If you answered yes, here’s your guy! Meet Kevin, a fouryear-old male cat at the VHS. His favorite activities include responding to his name, following his person around, napping, and being brushed. He’s not super into playing with toys and would probably be content just chattering away at the birds and squirrels outside the window of his new home. To meet this handsome man, visit VHS! His adoption fee is only $80 and includes his neuter, microchip and up-to-date vaccines.
TRIXIE: Meet Trixie - experienced best friend, couch potato, and treat hound. With 8 years of life experience, this German shepherd mix is pretty much a pro at being a family pet. She loves casual walks and has shown signs of being crate trained. With that said, it always takes time to get adjusted to a new schedule! In her previous home she lived with big kids and no cats, but is open to trying new things. To learn more about Trixie, visit her at the VHS! OLIVER TWIST: Let’s help this little guy live happily ever after like the literary character he’s named after! Upon meeting this 2-year-old Blanc de Hotot male rabbit, you might notice he’s got a not-so-sweet tattoo in his ear. This indicates that in his previous life, he was likely a show rabbit who did not quite fit the bill. We think he’s a star anyway and so will you! He’s very shy about hands reaching for his ears (understandably so) and will need a little help building his confidence. If you don’t mind a little work and are patient, come meet Oliver Twist and make his story a happy one! His adoption fee is $50 and includes his neuter and microchip.
