MANAGEMENT
Level 6 Events April 2018
BA (Hons) Creative Events Management April 2018 Each year students on the BA(Hons) Creative Events Management course at AUB are expected to produce a live event as part of their studies. By this stage of the course students will have a good body of experience in staging live events and responding to creative briefs. They will also have strong technical and organisational skills, including planning, marketing, finance and fundraising. The Live Event 3: Major Project unit is an opportunity for students to deliver a team project of their own devising. This unit is designed to challenge and to provide an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to analyse, interpret and respond to a complex body of knowledge and practice. The project is expected to have high creative values, to be pushing at the boundaries of industry practice or, alternatively, to engage with the community and involve the students in something they might not have experienced before, either as spectators or participants.

In My Mind
28th April - 7th May Monday - Saturday 11.00am - 5.00pm Sunday 11.00am - 4.00pm Boscombe High Street The In My Mind team felt that the current way in which mental illness is discussed with facts and figures, has created a sense of misunderstanding, making it difficult for people who are really suffering to openly talk about how they are feeling without fear of judgement. We asked a group of people suffering with mental illnesses, “if you could explain your mental illness, what would you say?. From these responses and working with a team of artists we have created In My Mind, an immersive pop-up experience that is aiming to remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues. The event aims to create an open discussion between those suffering and those who have not experienced anything like it before.
if you could describe your mental illness...
