All residents (ages 12+) must bring their membership card each time they wish to access the facility
No child under 12 is permitted in the park/facility without adult supervision
No animals of any type are permitted in the park
No glass, smoking, vaping, or alcohol is permitted in the park. No bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, etc. are permitted in the park
Open fires are not permitted Only charcoal briquettes may be used in the barbeques.
Residents and guests must not use foul language in the park
Rambunctious/unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated

Residents assume full responsibility for their guest' actions
Residents must be present at all times while their guests use the facility.
Adult residents may bring up to five (5) guests per household
Youth residents (aged 12-15) may bring up to two (2) guests per household (with signed parental consent). All guests must be signed in before entering the facility
For more than five (5) guests, a Gate +8 List must be submitted to Auburn House at least 28 hours prior to your event for approval. These lists are accepted on a first come, first served basis The ABRA accepts a maximum of 10 Gate +8 lists MonThurs, and 5 Gate +8 Lists Fri-Sun (and all stat/civic holidays)
Park Guest Lists (up to 25 people) are only available with Picnic Shelter bookings.
The ABRA has the right to decline any large group
The maximum number of guests with a Gate +8 list is 8 (including children and mobile infants)
Gate +8 lists are available on AuburnBayRA ca and at Auburn House
All users must check in at the main office before entering the gymnasium
All users must act in a safe and responsible manner.
Profanity and/or abusive language is not permitted
Shoes with non-marking soles only No socked feet, bare feet, flip flops, or sandals
Indoor shoes only. Remove outdoor shoes before entering the gymnasium.
Shirts must be worn at all times
No food or drink (except bottled water)
Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc are prohibited
Soccer and lacrosse are not permitted in the gymnasium.
No outdoor hockey sticks or pucks are permitted
No gym equipment is permitted on the mezzanine
You may need to sign out equipment from the office using your membership card
Please respect designated drop-in times
Gym use is not supervised - use at your own risk
ABRA staff will evict any user displaying unacceptable behaviour of any kind
Share the courts! Please honour a 30-minute rotation time during badminton and pickleball drop-ins

Split Gym (Half Netted, Half Non-Netted): Half the gym accommodates nonnetted sports and have accommodates pickleball or badminton

Pickleball & Badminton Drop-ins: Already love badminton? Come hit some birdies and then try popular up-and-coming racquet sport, Pickleball.

Calling all campfire enthusiasts! Campfire Fridays are back at Auburn House! Join us for marshmallows around the campfire with your friends and family Marshmallows and roasting sticks are provided by Auburn House Event is weather dependent.

Do you need a night out without kids? Well you're in luck! The ABRA is now offering Babysitting Nights so you can enjoy some quality time with your partner or even your friends!
*All children must be fully potty trained to attend*
ABRA staff will have a selection of games, crafts and activities to keep your little one(s) busy! We will also have a nut-free snack and drink available, however please feel free to pack any additional nut-free snacks and/or drinks for your children if they need more.

At Auburn House, we understand that finding childcare can be a struggle at times, especially for school aged children who seem to have more and more PD days each year That's why we are offering PD Day Camps this year!

The ABRA is now offering leagues for your favourite sports, like Pickleball, Basketball, Badminton, and more!

The ABRA will be renting out the gymnasium on select evenings to sports teams, sports clubs, etc , for training!

The ABRA is excited to introduce our new adult sports leagues! Leagues will run at the beginning of each season and each sport will have a designated night to play Those who wish to join must sign up as a TEAM Each team will then have a designated captain or contact that the Program Coordinator will send all communication to, including game dates, times and standings
Each league will run for a specified number of weeks (dependant on the number of teams that sign up) with playoffs ocurring afterwards with some great prizes up for grabs!

Need to get a Membership Card?
Bring a copy of your Certificate of Title, as well as government-issued photo I D with the Auburn Bay address on it to Auburn House to receive your permanent membership card. For children without appropriate I.D., please bring their Birth Certificate. The office is open from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
The ABRA reserves the right to cancel any programs with insufficient registration. Full refunds will be granted, or you may transfer to another program (space permitting).
Requests to withdraw from a program:
Seven (7) or more days prior to the first day of the program will be granted a refund with no penalty.*
Less than seven (7) days prior to the first day of the program will be granted a 50% refund.* On the program start date to within 48 hours after the first class will be granted a 25% refund (not applicable to one-day programs - no refunds will be granted within 48 hours before the start date of the program).
Refunds will be issued for medical reasons and will be pro-rated at the time of the withdrawal request A doctor's note must be presented Refunds will not be issued for participants who are unable to attend make-up classes.
*Refunds are issued by account credit Credits are valid for one year from the issue date Alternative refunds (e g , direct deposit) are subject to a $15 Administration Fee

Fun festivities will begin at 6:30pm Bouncy houses and roving entertainment, plus the Calgary Mini Donut food truck will be on site with VHF Coffee to satisfy that sweet tooth and help to keep you warm! Be sure to get here early to enjoy the evening as we say goodbye to summer

The ABRA has partnered with the First Nations Arts Alliance for the 2023 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.
On Saturday, September 30 from 1:00 to 4:00pm, head on down to the Auburn House parking lot where you have the opportunity to acknowledge this important day and support the Indigenous community. We will have Indigenous food trucks on site, Indigenous vendors selling handmade art, crafts, and orange t-shirts will be available for purchase by the First Nations Arts Alliance Cost for tshirts is $25 each and payment is available by cash, debit or credit. This event is open to everyone.

Students will get to learn about the exciting field of veterinary medicine and become a veterinarian physician and surgeon This 6-week program will discuss about canine/dog health Our Little Veterinarians will get to perform dog assessments making a nose to tail exam, keeping dog healthy with proper dog nutrition, learn about ticks, caring for lacerations and also learn some basic surgical skills, immunization and more! They also get to take home their own premium stuffed toy dog at the end of the program.

Would you know who to call? Would you know how to give first aid? All of these instances requires professional training and without it you should not be taking care of someone else's children The liability is much too large Sitters should be properly trained and certified Each graduating babysitter will receive a Canada Safety Council Manual and 2 certificates.

The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 9/10 yrs of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied

As future sports surgeons, your little doctor will have fun learning about very interesting concepts about the hands, bones, reflexes, muscles, joints and some common injuries from physical sporting activities Students also get to learn how to administer first aid and some basic at-home treatments for common musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, blisters and athlete’s foot At our Sports Medicine School PD Day camp, kids will explore the exciting world of sports medicine and will also learn how real doctors do an assessment for sports injuries They will also make creative models of the hand and see how the tendons and ligaments work and what can go wrong As this full PD day at Sports Medicine School, children will have a better understanding of what it is like in the world of sports medicine!
Little Veterinarian School: Feline PD Day Camp (Ages 6-12)

Our student Little Veterinarians will learn what it is to be feline specialists as they understand the uniqueness of cat patients They will practice doing a tip to tail cat health assessments, assess a cat’s body condition score, understand cat body language, learn about cat anatomy, about their domestic life and how to have a calmer cat Our young veterinarians will find their passion for cats, science and medicine come alive in this fun educational journey through the medical profession As this full PD day at Little Veterinarian School, children will have a better understanding of what it is like in the world of veterinary medicine!
