O YOU STRUGGLE TO GET that perfect cat eye liner because you have hooded eyes? That is no longer a problem. I have found a way to give you this look without having the muddy aftermath! This will give you the sexy cat eye look without the hassle! You can make this look fun by using different colored eyeliners! You want to start with a thin line across the lash line and bring the line out as you normally would when do-
ing your cat eye. Step two, instead of closing and filling in the liner, stop the liner where your eye begins to crease. This gives you a cool graphic eye liner look when your eyes are closed and the sexy cat eye when your eyes are open! I recommend using a velvet tip eyeliner or better known as the pen eyeliner. HE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE AND PARties are still happening. You are ready to whip out your trusty red lipstick for your holiday parties.... but it’s 2020 and Covid is still here. No one planned for this to last long but it has. You absolutely love that red but now no one will see it. What do you do? Well it’s okay! We have solutions and some are a little more simple that others. Did you know you know you could buy a mask with a clear center to show off that lip? Or maybe wear a face shield (if allowed) that can either rest on your forehead, chin or neck so you can show off that lipstick that’s been tucked away ready to come out during holiday. There are even some that look like clear eyeglass frames that hold the shield up and do not disturb the glam you just created. If you’re more comfortable wearing your trusty mask you have gotten use to (we know we all have a favorite we prefer over others) then maybe switch it up this year and glam up your eyes. You can do this by adding a quick sparkle with a liquid glitter shadow, some liner and a pair of lashes. Scared of lashes? They have magnetic ones now too and others with self adhesive. Never worn them before? Do not worry! Thankfully we have social media and you can watch a tutorial or maybe even a TikTok on how to throw on those bad boys in the blink of an eye... literally. Whatever you choose, remember that we only have to make it a few more weeks until the new year.... and maybe just maybe by then you will be able to wear that good ol’ red lip without having to hide it behind a mask.

INFECTA: RUMOR HAS IT THAT YOU AREN’T THE BIGGEST FAN OF MAKEUP. IF THIS IS THE CASE, YOU HAVE TO TELL US WHY!
Lindsey: I am incredibly lazy, and I also don’t like the feeling of having anything on my face. It feels restrictive and my skin can’t breathe. Make up is beautiful and it’s fun getting dolled up at times, however; make up can drastically alter your look. I am a huge supporter of embracing your natural state. I also feel women are pressured to put effort into their appearance and, consequently, lose their confidence when showing a bare face. There is a double standard in appearance when it comes to men and women, I want to break that expectation. Bare is beautiful. I: AS AN INTERNATIONAL MODEL THAT HAS WORKED FOR MAJOR BEAUTY BRANDS LIKE L’OREAL, WHAT INTERESTING BEAUTY HACKS HAVE YOU LEARNED ON SET?
L: Cold spoons on your eyes help with swelling. Heat up your eyelash curler before use. Spray your bobby pins with hair spray to prevent them from sliding.

I: WHAT DO YOU DO TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A PHOTOSHOOT?
L: I try to avoid eating late the night before as well as anything too heavy. If my skin needs it, I may do a hydrating mask. Typically, I stick to my normal routine. I: HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN YOUR SNATCHED BODY WITH YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE?
L: Health and fitness is very important to me. I work with my trainer a lot focusing on cardio, HIIT, and strength training. I always mix it up to avoid my body adapting to the workouts. When I can’t make it to the gym, I have to keep my diet in line by eating clean and easy to digest foods. A liquid diet works really well for me such as soups, smoothies, and protein shakes. I: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MAKEUP LOOK FROM THE MISS EARTH COMPETITION?
L: Since I am not used to wearing glam makeup, I did enjoy wearing each look. One of my favorites was this copper look. We also added a half up half down hairstyle later in the day.

L: As a model branding has always been important. My brand is who I am as a person. I embrace my naturalness and raw beauty while encouraging others to do the same. I will carry over my modern elegance into my Miss Earth reign while also remaining fashion forward. I keep my style very versatile from cute babydoll dress to black cargo pants.

L: Be mindful of the products you’re purchasing. The toxins and chemicals found in cosmetics are devastating to our environment. When products wash down the drain, these pollutants wash into our waterways and find their way into multiple ecosystems. Majority of these toxins do not breakdown and build up causing an imbalance in our natural life cycle. Read the label and stick to all-natural ingredients. STAY WRINKLE-FREE BY ANNA VIEIRA
W
HAT DO THE WRINKLES ON YOUR FACE mean? They are signs that our body uses to show change. Oftentimes in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we use signs from our external body to provide us information about what’s happening in our internal state. Wrinkles on specific areas of the face mean certain things. Wrinkles between eyebrows are caused by anger, over-concentration, nervousness, or stress. Wrinkles on the forehead are caused by not getting enough sleep over time. Wrinkles at the corner of eyes, or around the temple area, are often signs of kidney deficiency. The kidney is the organ responsible for housing our life essence called “Jing”. Jing depletes over time, some quicker than others, showing more signs of aging. Wrinkles at corners of lips: the left side signals spleen deficiency, the right side signals liver, and gallbladder stagnation or overload. The spleen is our digestion, harmed by poor nutrition, excessive consumption

of cold or raw foods, and worry. The liver and gallbladder are harmed by anger and stress, excessive medications, environmental toxins, drug, and alcohol use. Wrinkles on the bridge of the nose between the eyes area is often a sign of heart imbalance. But how can we treat and prevent wrinkles and consequently treating our entire well-being? Daily mediation or concentrated stomach breathing with both eyes closed. Lay down for 5-10 minutes once or twice daily. Get to bed before 11:00 pm, apply a few drops of lavender essential oil to sleep better, or drink lotus seed and logan tea. This will also naturally help liver and gallbladder function. Eat 2 tablespoons of goji berry daily. Drink ginger tea daily to help the spleen. Practice kidney massage, placing both fists on the lower back, rub up and down motion for 3-5 minutes daily. Fascial cupping and CryoFascial can also help, and for those, seek professional advice.
