It's that time again when we have a catch-up and let you know what's going on at Mersea Island. It's been great to see so many of you enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having. As we move further into the summer months, we wanted to remind you of the fantastic events we have planned. We are particularly excited about our upcoming Family Fun Afternoon on the 8th of July . This is a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy some activities, hopefully in the sunshine! As with all our owner-exclusive events, we advise prebooking in advance to avoid missing out. Just pop in and see the team at Guest Services, and they will be happy to help.
As you read through this, you will see that we have some exclusive promotions available for you at The Muddy Duck, so hopefully, we will see you down there at some point throughout the summer. You might have noticed that if you have been down midweek throughout May, the Club and Swimming Pool have been closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are continuing to review this and keep you updated with any changes to opening hours.
As you all may know by now, unfortunately, the difficult decision has been taken to cancel the Music Weekender event that was scheduled for August. We understand that this is disappointing news, but we want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly. We are hopeful that the Music Weekender event will be back again next year for all of us to enjoy.
I wanted to take a moment to remind you that I have an open-door policy. If there is anything you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to drop me an email or pop in and see me. I am always happy to see you all and listen to your thoughts. For those of you who would prefer, you may have seen that I will be running drop-in sessions in the Muddy Duck on a fortnightly basis. Please just drop me an email if you want to book onto one of these. We look forward to seeing you soon.
