Major cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka are popular destinations for school field trips. However, in addition to these major tourist sites, we would like to recommend another destination which is also full of originality, and that is Shodoshima. Setouchi district of Shikoku is known for its beautiful weather and the small islands. On this tour, you will get to learn the Japanese culture from experiencing beach seining (fishing) and fruit picking while appreciating the beautiful view of Western Japan. The beach seining experience will take place in Wakayama, the only place where you can enjoy fishing by using dragnet on the beach. We hope to provide the one of a life time tour for travelers.

Hidaka is the home of race horses in Japan, owning 70% of the racehorses in the country. Adorable foals and the retired race horses have attracted countless enthusiastic race horse fans to the area. We will be taking you to Hidaka, the home of race horses, to hang out with some of the retired race horse stars. We will also be visiting Japan Racing Association (JRA), where you can also experience riding with race horses. On this tour, you will get to enjoy the fun hanging out with horses in the great land of Hokkaido. However, people used to consider martial arts a skill for fights and self-protection. Nowadays people practice martial arts not only to build up their bodies but to train their spirits. It has also become a sport at international events. Besides the skills to oppress the opponent, modern martial arts also include the idea to cultivate personality. Through the training of spirit, techniques and physical strengths, one can also learn to become better mannered. This tour will take you to an actual martial art training hall for archery in Ayabe, Kyoto, also to the birthplace of Aikido. Day 1: KIX - OSAKA Upon arrival at KIX Airport, meet & greet with English-speaking guide. Direct transfer to your hotel for check-in Free at your leisure and overnight in Osaka Day 2: OSAKA - KYOTO After breakfast and check-out, meet with your guide and transfer to Kyoto. Experience the Aikido, learn the basics of Aikido posing from the professionals. Visit Sanjusangendo Temple, enjoy the Toshi-ya (archery exhibition contest) performance. Visit Kyu-Butokuden (the wooden style traditional martial arts training hall). Transfer to your hotel and check-in, free at your leisure and overnight in Kyoto.

Oomoto Official Site -The father of Aikido, Mr. Morihei Ueshiba, founded a school in Ayabe back in 1920 and that is where he started teaching Aikido.

Kurotani Washi -The traditional Japanese washi paper carries 800 years of history. Here at the Kurotani Washi workshop, you will get to learn how to make the beautiful Washi paper.

Day 3: KYOTO – MT. HIEIZAN After breakfast and check-out, meet with your guide and proceed 1-day sightseeing. Experience the traditional tea ceremony at Koko-An. Transfer to Mt. Hieizan, visit Enryaku-ji Temple. Stay overnight in a temple, experience the hand copying of Buddhist sutras, Zazen meditation and Shugyo training. Day 4: MT. HIEIZAN – MIYAMA – AYABE After breakfast and check-out, meet with your guide and proceed 1-day sightseeing. Visit Sanzen-in Temple, Miyama Village - the traditional Kabuyaki style village. Transfer to Ayabe, experience the Washi (Japanese Paper) making. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, free at your leisure and overnight in Ayabe. Day 5: AYABE – AMANO-HASHIDATE After breakfast and check-out, meet with your guide Transfer to a local Kyudo Dojo (Archery practice hall) and experience Japanese Archery. Visit Miroku-Den (Maitreyan Bodhisattva) Temple, Omoto and the birth place of Aikido. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, free at your leisure and overnight in Amano-hashidate.

Amanohashitate - With the combination of pine trees and ocean view, Amanohashitate is referred to as one of the three greatest sites of Japan. The view is especially break-taking when it is covered in white snow.
