Skytree Completed in 2012, the Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world (634m/2080 ft) and from the observation deck up on 350m/1149 ft high, you can enjoy the panoramic view of metropolitan Tokyo.

Itinerary Day 01 Welcome to Japan. After your arrival upon Narita Airport (or Haneda Airport), you will be greeted and met with an English-speaking driver. Following the meet, you will directly transfer to your hotel and check-in. (Check-in generally starts from 3 pm in Japan) Overnight in Tokyo. Day02 Good morning Tokyo. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, an English-speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and take you on a 1-day adventure in the city of Tokyo. You will get to explore this amazing city by the public transportation system. Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise street - The Asakusa Kannon Temple is one of the oldest temples in Tokyo and one of the most symbolic sites to visit. It is also a popular destination for New Year’s visit (traditionally, the Japanese pay a visit to a shrine during the New Year holidays to pray for good luck in the upcoming year). It made the top ten list of the most visited shrines/temples during the New Year. Nakamise street locates in between the Kaminari Gate in Asakusa and the Kannon Temple. You will find various souvenir shops here. Skytree - The Tokyo Skytree is one of the newest landmarks in Tokyo. Built in 2012 and 634 meters/2080 ft in length, the view from the observation deck of Skytree will take your breath away with the wonderous sight of the metropolitan Tokyo. Meiji Jingu Shrine - Meiji Jingu Shrine is another popular destination for the New Year’s visit. Locating in the metropolitan Tokyo, its traditional interior brings the city a different atmosphere and is regarded as the city’s oasis. Shibuya/Harajuku - Finally, we will visit the home of the pop cultures in Japan by strolling in Shibuya and Harajuku. You might have already seen the Shibuya crossing in movies but now you will get to personally cross the street of Shibuya. How exciting! Overnight in Tokyo. Day03 On this day, we will be taking an SIC bus tour to Mt. Fuji. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Hamamatsucho bus terminal on your own and there you will find the SIC tour bus heading to Mt. Fuji. Mt. Fuji 5th Station - You will be visiting the 5th station of Mt. Fuji (2305 meters/7563 ft in height) via the Fuji Subaru Line. If the weather condition permits, you will be able to enjoy the closeness to the nature and the famous scenery of the tallest mountain in Japan. Lake Ashi Cruising - Next, we will be visiting Hakone for the Lake Ashi cruise. There is a change that you will see Mt. Fuji from the cruise, too (if weather condition permits). Komagatake Ropeway - The ropeway will take you up to the height of 1327m/4354 ft from the ground, and you will be able to look in to the distant from the top of the mountain and enjoy the view of Lake Ashi together with Mt. Fuji. The ropeway experience concludes the Mt. Fuji & Hakone tour and afterwards you will be transferred back to Tokyo by the same bus. You will be dropped off in Ginza or Shinuku. Upon arrival, you will transfer back to the hotel on your own. Overnight in Tokyo. Day 04 Free & Easy day Today is a free & easy day that you can spend at your own leisure. We have a list of options & activities for you to choose from if you are interested. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day05 After breakfast & check-out, you will transfer to the Tokyo Station on your own. We have arranged for you to take the bullet train (standard class/seat reserved) to Kyoto. Bullet train ride from Tokyo to Kyoto: Approximately 461 km/287 miles・2 hours 15 mins. Day06 After breakfast, an English-speaking guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and take you out to explore the marvelous temples and world heritage sites in Kyoto city by public transportation. Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) - One of the most famous world heritage sites in Kyoto City. The golden surface you see now was painted in 1955 when it was being renovated. Nijo Castle - Nijo Castle was the home of Tokugawa Shogun when he was in power. The castle witnessed the Tokugawa Shogunate’s ups and down from the beginning to the end of the Tokugawa era. Kiyomizu Temple - Kiyomizu Temple was said to be completed in 778 A.D. It is best known for its main hall, a.k.a. the stage of Kiyomizu, which locates on an 18 meter/60 ft tall cliff. Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka - On the slope of Kiyomizu-saka, there are several streets on the side with souvenir shops and traditional art crafts shops lining up. Ninenzaka & Sannenaka are one of the most popular tourists sights in Kyoto. Gion Hanami Koji - When you are in Gion, you do not want to miss the chance to walk down the Hanami Koji street. Many traditional tea houses are located on this street and if you are lucky, you might even find a geisha standing right next to you. Overnight in Kyoto. *Optional : Fushimi Inari Hiking The Fushimi Inari Shrine has been worshipped and answering to prayers for 1300 years. There are countless torii (gateway at the entrance to a Shinto shrine) all the way to the top (an approx. 1.5 hour walk)

Amanohashitate One of the 3 greatest views of Japan, the breath-taking scenery from Amanohashitate is said to be the nature’s best artwork. Many visitors go up to the top of the hill and bend down to look over between their legs. It is said that the shape of the islands looks like a dragon flying into the sky into the heaven.

Oshino Hakkai - The Oshino Hakkai park consists of several ponds in which the water originated from Mt. Fuji. Hana no Miyako Park - The Hana no Miyako Park is located on a 1000m/3280 ft land close to Mt. Fuji. It is covered in flowers in all four seasons and truly the nature’s masterpiece. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferring to the hotel in Mt. Fuji. Our pick for your accommodation tonight is Hoshinoya Fuji, a luxury camp site where you can enjoy the now trending “glamping” experience (glamping stands for Glamorous Camping). Day 05 Enjoy your breakfast surrounded by the blessing of the nature. (You can enjoy making your own breakfast in the outdoor) Free & easy day at your own leisure. Day06 After breakfast, picked up by Japanese driver (English-speaking driver not available) and transfer to Mishima Station. Take the bullet train to Nagoya Station (approx. 2 hours), take a brief lunch break and switch to the express train to Kashikoishima (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival in Kashikoshima, meet with the pick-up service from the hotel and transfer directly to hotel for check-in. Day08 After breakfast & check-out, picked up by English speaking driver & transfer to Kyoto (approx. 3 hours) for Kyoto city tour. Kinkakuji Temple - Famous temple in Kyoto and a registered World Heritage. The golden surface was painted in the 1955 renovation. Kanazawa Higashi chaya street Chayamachi, street of traditional tea houses, was established in the 19th Century. It is one of the 3 largest teahouse streets in Kanazawa.

Matsue castle The Matsue Castle has been standing straight next to Lake Shinji for over 400 years. It is one of the 5 castles that were named national treasure in Japan.

Adachi Museum of Art The Adachi Museum of Art is well known for its remarkably spacious and traditional Japanese gardens (approx. 165,000 m2), which feature changing sceneries that can be enjoyed throughout all four seasons. It has been named the top garden in Japan by The Journal of Japanese Gardening (USA) for fifteen consecutive years (2003-2017) and has received high praise overseas.

Naoshima Pavilion Naoshima was a prosperous port back in the Edo period. Today, the city of ancient remains is harmonized with modern arts.

Izumo-oyashiro kaguradenn Izumo is regarded the Kingdom of Gods and Goddesses from the ancient times. The Shrine of thousands of years of history sits in the rear of Mount Yakumo surrounded by a mysterious aura and solemn atmosphere.

Tamatsukuri Onsen / Chorakuen Chorakuen in Tamatsukuri Onsen is famous for its unisex onsen pools and Open-air bath. Here in Tamatsukuri Onsen, you can stroll around in a traditional Japanese garden (approx. 3,000 Sq. meter/32300 Sq. ft) and enjoy the local delicacies such as Matsuba crab and Shimane Wagyu beef.

Matsue Castle - Matsue Castle was not only named as a national treasure, but also one of the most popular cherry blossom spots. Izumo Taisha Shrine - Izumo Taisha is known as the oldest shrine in the nation and is said to bring great luck to couples. According to the Ancient legends, all gods and goddesses will be gathered here in Izumo around October and many visitors gather here to pray for good fortune and blessings each year. Shimane winery - In the winery, you will be able to observe the manufacturing process and taste the Japanese wine made here. Okuno-in One of the 2 sacred lands of Mt. Koyasan. Lengths approx. 2km/1.25 miles, Okuno-in gathers multiple large grave stones and memorials, surrounded by trees over 700 years old.

Kitayamagawa rafting (optional) Try the exciting water rafting here in Kitayamagawa! Since ages ago the locals have been using the wooden rafts to carry things down the river to the city. The rafts are now being used for tourist purposes and this is the only place in the country that you can enjoy water rafting with wooden rafts.

Besides visiting the famous Kenroku-en Garden and the East Tea House street, you can also experience making crafts with gold foils or pottery…etc. Overnight in Kanazawa Day05 After check-out, free & easy at your own leisure until time to leave for Awara Onsen. In the afternoon, take the JR express train from Kanazawa Station to Awara Onsen Station (ticket included – standard class/seat reserved) After arriving in Awara Onsen Station, take the hotel shuttle bus to the hotel & check-in. Tonight, you will be spending a relaxed time in the onsen bath. Overnight in Awara Onsen. Day06 After check-out, meet with English speaking driver for the 1-day Fukui private tour. According to a research, the Fukui prefecture ranks number 1 as the happiest prefecture in Japan. Besides the history, tradition, and culture, there are also many other things to see such as the nature sceneries of oceans and mountains. Tojinbo - Tojinbo is a 1 km/1093-yard-long cliff by the Sea of Japan. The extraordinary scenery has been used in several movies and tv dramas. Overnight in Toba (Mie Prefecture) Day11 After breakfast & check-out, picked up by English speaking driver and proceed to Mie & Wakayama 1 day tour. Ise Jingu - One of the oldest shrines in Japan with history of 2000 years. Inside of the Ise Jingu, there are 125 tiny shrines each represents a Shinto God. According to the official site, it is roughly the size of Paris.

Okage Yokocho Street - A replica shopping street from the Edo & Meiji era. You will find products and souvenirs from the old days and experience the atmosphere of a different generation. Onigajyo - Onigajyo is also a registered World Heritage. It is a large wharf by the sea from Iseshima to the south of Kumano beach. Maruyama Senmaida - It is said to be the largest terrace field in Japan. Transfer to hotel & check-in. Enjoy your dinner at the hotel. Kawayu Onsen – Onsen in the river - The Kawayu onsen in Wakayama prefecture is a rare onsen spot for that the hot spring is dug from the bottom of the river. The hot spring is originally over 70 Celsius/158 Fahrenheit but mixing with the water of Kumanogawa river balances it out. Nothing says relax better than sitting the outdoor onsen in the river while looking up to the beautiful night sky filled with stars. Day12 You could also enjoy the onsen in the river in the fresh morning air. After check-out, picked up by English speaking driver & proceed tour to Wakayama. Kumano Hongu Taisha - One of the 3 famous Kumanosanzan Shrines. The trail path that connects all three shrines is called the Kumano Kodo trail. Tanize Suspension Bridge - One of the longest bridges in Japan. The thrill that comes with the shaking bridge while you are walking on it will make you appreciate life like you have never appreciated life before. Kitayamagawa rafting (optional) - The only wooden raft you will see in the country. After the tour, transfer to Mt. Koyasan. Tonight will be spent in a temple in Koyazan. Mt. Koyasan Shokubo Experience A total package of meditation, sutra copying, Buddhist shojin cuisine will gives you the ultimate “zen” experience. It is a spiritual getaway for your mind and soul. (if you choose the authentic shokubo experience, note that bathrooms will be shared. Standard hotels can be arranged as well) Day 13 After waking up from your zen experience, we recommend you attend the sutra reading program at the temple. Lengths approx. 2km/1.25 miles, Okuno-in gathers multiple large grave stones and memorials, surrounded by trees over 700 years old. Danjyogaran - The other one of the 2 sacred lands of Mt. Koyasan. The home of the famous Buddhist monk, Kukai Kobo Daishi, when he started the Shingon Buddhism studies. Kongobuji Temple - Registered as the World Heritage of Shingon Buddhism. The largest stone garden in the country, Banryutei” is also here. *admission fee required.
