WRITING STUDIO WRITING STUDIO
The PSAU Department of English Language and Literature headed by Dr.Iman Nabawi, the Writing Studio as a part of the Activities committee commenced the Writing Studio The participating faculty members included Dr.Shifan Taha, Dr.Ismat Jabeen, Dr.Ansa Hameed, and Dr.Maram and supervised by Dr.Wahaj Unnisa Warda. The Writing Studio announced its registrations on 5 September 2022, via Google forms and on the department's Twitter account @EnglishPSAU and the official Twitter account @PSAUWritingClub The number of registered members was 26
The first Orientation meeting was on 14th September from 4 pm- 5 pm, online in BB. The weekly meeting was scheduled for Wednesday 4 pm- 5 pm. It was attended by 13 students

The first workshop was on Thursday 15 September 2022, presented by Dr.Shifan Thaha, titled ‘Email Etiquette’. There were 9 attendees Where the students were given an insight into composing emails carefully. It was attended by 7 students.
The Second workshop was on Wednesday 21 September 2022, by Dr Ansa Hameed titled ‘Rules of Effective Writing’ by Dr Ansa Hameed. It was attended by 27 students
The third workshop was titled ‘Writing an Effective CV’ by Dr Maram Alzeer It was attended by 10 students The workshop highlighted the aspect to promote oneselfto the prospective employers.
Workshop four On Wednesday 5/10/2022, workshop titled “Reflective Writing: A Hands on Practice”was held onlinefrom 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm under Writing Studioworkshop series. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ismat Jabeen and attended by Dr Wardah & Dr Shifan (membersof the Writing Studio), and the studentsof the Department of EnglishLanguage and Literature, female section, College of Science and Humanities, PSAU, Al-Kharj. Around 55 female students participated in the workshop The main features and structure of writing was introduced and explained followed by hands onpractice to combine theory with practice.
The last meeting was in person in the College of Science and Humanities on 11 October 2022, from 12pm-1 pm, in room G-1-10 this meeting was organized by Dr.Wahaj Unnisa Warda as part of the conclusion for the Writing Studio. It aimed to discuss the upcoming semester plan, distribution of participation certificates, and certificates of appreciation to the participating faculty members. It was attending by 31 including faculty members and students.
