“When You Are, Old ”

When you are old and grey and full of sleep, And nodding by the fire, take down this book, And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep; How many loved your moments of glad grace, And loved your beauty with love false or true, But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars, Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled And paced upon the mountains overhead And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

Tranquility and Myself

by :Hanan Mohammed Alshehab

What I feel right now

Can't be expressed in words how

My thoughts wander like a cloud in the sky

And my heart restless like a leaf of grass on a windy night

Tears on my chest continuously fall

As rain on the blazing fire to cool

Many unwanted thoughts appear uncontrolled

As a tree sheds its leaves to reach a new life

Penning down verse is the only cure

For the grieving heart’s recovery

Most blessed is a talk to a pure heart

Who listens to you, and shares the wisdom

Can't be found in any mart, So perturbed and in agony

My heart searches for a ray of hope, Found only in my friend and soul mate.
